The client’s website is built on WordPress, and before it went live, it was hosted on a subdomain called https://adams.mespilpool.com/wp/. I am currently in the process of revamping the subdomain, and after following the instructions for installing WordPress multisite, we have encountered an issue where the main website (https://mespilpool.com/) and its functions are redirecting to the subdomain (https://adams.mespilpool.com/wp/).
Additionally, when accessing the WordPress admin panel of the main website (https://mespilpool.com/), we receive a warning stating that an existing WordPress network was detected. However, we are unable to locate the network settings within the admin to set up any network
Any advise on how to resolve this issue and ensure that both sites operate independently of each other, allowing us to proceed with the revamp of the subdomain.

I created a website www.example.com. We decided to change its layout and content and for ease of use I decided to create a subdomain – new.example.com using a Multisite feature of the WordPress and work on a new website there. I am done with the new website, so now I wanted to transfer the website from subdomain to a main domain (so the old website which is now in the main domain is not used anymore) – however since I am using a multisite – I have a shared database and folder which is being used for both websites. I am not sure how to separate between two websites – migrate the new website to a main domain and delete the old website. Can you kindly advice?
many thanks in advance!

]]>If I get a premium key for my new site and I put the key in my main domain, will the same key work for the subdomains? Or do I need to buy a key for each version of my site? The main site is a multi-site, if that makes any difference.
It is set up as:
maindomain.com
subdomain1.maindomain.com
subdomain2.maindomain.com
The site is not public yet so you will not be able to access it. I tried to activate the site on your dashboard but it will not recognize the plugin is activated. I suspect because it is not yet publicly available?

]]>I have installed WordPress on a sub-directory (e.g. mydomain.com/test). My test site is almost done and the next step would be moving it to the main directory (mydomain.com). Would there be any conflicts when cloning the website using the duplicator? I’ve read that the root folder (main directory) should not contain any other files/folders during migration to prevent errors. Should I delete all the files in the root folder before extracting the package, including my other subdomain/addon domains directory?
Appreciate your feedback.
Thanks,

Decided to try out your premium version after over a year of having purchased it. Everything seemed to go fine last night, but this morning I couldn’t get to any of my sub-directory sites. They all kept defaulting back to the original main domain URL. Does any of this sound familiar?
Only realized it was due to your plugin after deactivating it in my main site. So I’m now back on my original caching plugin.
It’s not a multi-site mind you, just separate sub-directory installs.
Can you give me any pointers on how to avoid this problem in the future should I give your plugin another run through?
thanks in advance.
]]>I have a problem. I have installed multisite and have a main domain and subdomain. All works fine.
But i would like to use widgets on this subdomain that should have information of plugins of the main domain. So these plugins will fill out with information at the main domain….also all customization of that plugins are not given at the subdomain. All plugins are network activated….
Is this possible to reach content of the main domain from the subdomain??
Did i something wrong??
Thanks for your help…i appreciate it
