Originally, my home “page” was a post and I had an image slider on top of the image. Tech support initially blamed the slider. So, I stripped out all of the slider’s code – problem still there. Then, I changed; created a page and made it the landing “page” instead of a post. The problem was still there. Then, I changed the image file itself, and even uploaded a new “fresh” version of the original image – the problem was still there. I also upgraded my WP engine to the new 4.0 version – problem still there.
A re-dial to tech support and another twenty minutes and the guy gave up on me: “I don’t know what to tell ya – I’ve never seen that before.”
Hint: This is only on the main page (or post). Everything else is just fine. Other pages/posts display images just fine.
You’ll even notice – if the img does not exist – then it should simply display a broken image (the little generic blue broken…”thing”). This is displaying a corrupted pathname!
Kind of a head-scratcher – but that was the problem! Who woulda thunk?!

]]>He’s chosen the Responsive theme, added a header image, and played with text, but nothing we do is changing the main page. Nothing we add or edit under posts or pages is doing anything to the main page of the site (located at https://e2conference.com/ or https://e2conference.com/?p=1).
Is there a step I’m missing? I apologize if this question has been asked often, but I can’t seem to identify a thread that addresses this.
]]>I am working on a multi-author blog. The hope is to have a weekly post that can then be discussed by the other contributors. So in essence I would like to be able to set up a ‘main post’ then have the following posts behave similar to comments, in that each ‘sub-post’ would appear beneath the ‘main post’! I would also need to be able to order these ‘sub-posts’ from oldest to newest.
Hopefully someone can help me with this!

Tristan
What I’m looking for is a theme where it displays one main post (form one specific category), and several other posts maybe with smaller fonts, from other categories.
I thought about using the Agregado theme, but I wasn’t able to customize it the way I wanted. For example, in the Agregado theme we have the main post (latest post), which I wanted it to show only posts form one specific category. And also, where you see the other posts in which they show only the headlines, I would like it to show the headlines + a small excerpt. Anybody could help me with this issues?
Or if you know a similar theme, just let me know!
Thanks!
Ive been tweaking the CSS and php pages to get a simple look i like and its nearly done. I Just have one little problem that i cannot resolve regarding CSS i think.
When i click on the post header to hit a single page the aligment is different to the main page lists of posts
ie
https://paulprudence.com/
if you click on Test Post, the content shifts slightly to the left and i cannot find the CSS tag to fix it, even though im sure its just one parameter…
