Anchor Tags Malfunctioning!

Hello!

I’m hoping someone can provide some insight to my issue. I use Elementor (free) alongside Elementor Header & Footer Builder. However, there is an issue when using anchors that I simply cannot overcome. I’ll explain:

On my HomePage, I have an anchor to the “About” section, however, when clicking that anchor, it goes to an entirely different page (“The Work” page). The problem continues on “The Work” page. When clicking on the anchors listed under “The Work”, they scroll to the appropriate place in the page for a split second, then pop back up to the top.

Now here’d the irony – the anchors work if NOT accessing them from the actual page they’re anchored on. Example: any anchor on “The Work” page works perfectly from any page EXCEPT “The Work” page!

My troubleshooting steps so far:

1. Changed theme (4 or 5 times), issue persists
2. used hashtags only for anchors (nope)
3. used FULL addresses for anchors (nope)
4. Created Menu items in WP, checked them for spelling errors
5. Checked anchor syntax in Elementor
6. Used “anchor” widget in Elementor
7. Declared anchors as CSS IDs in Elementor

I’m at a loss, y’all – my next step is to scrap them both. Ironically, I used Elementor Header & Footer to save time, but ended up wasting it instead.

OS: Windows Pro 10 (64-bit), AMD Ryzen Processor
Browser: Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Edge (issue has persisted in all 4)
Host: SiteGround

NOTE: This “bug” only seems to reproduce on DESKTOPS – it works just fine on the phone (not sure about tablets).

This was a great plugin which populated the home page with reviews directly from Trip Advisor which was everything we could wish for. A choice of styles made it very easy to customise and the slider looked great.

Unfortunately this suddenly stopped working! I am not happy about that at all as it makes the website look unprofessional. I contacted support to report the problem but they have ignored me!! How unprofessional is that? Needless to say, I will no longer be recommending this plugin – not until I get some support.

The checks are removed randomly

Some colleagues have complained that they put hours in a week, and in the following week when they go to check, they notice their checks from the previous week have disappeared. Why is this? Thank you.

The plugin is working indeed but as soon as I am activating it, some new users will get registered automatically & media library will start malfunctioning. I tried 3 times & all times having same experience.

I have always found this a very ‘simple to use’ free page builder plugin but ran into a few problems recently. I maintain a website for a voluntary organisation in my free time and used the plugin to build over 40 pages. Since upgrading to the latest version however, the plugin stopped working.

I am happy to say the issue has been resolved. It gave me a bit of a headache at the time but now the website seems to function properly again, I have updated my review from negative to positive and must thank support for their time and efforts.

Live Twitter Feed – Malfunctioning

When I try using your plugin the stuff that gets inserted into the post is [pdf-embedder url=”https://mythusmage.today/mythus/wp-content/uploads/mdocs/dangerous-journeys-glossary.pdf”]. But when I go to view the post the message I get is:

Something is wrong here.

Cart malfunctioning for 4 days now

Issues that suddenly started 4-5 days ago:

— Add things to cart, click to view cart and it is empty

— Add things to cart, view cart and random additional items have been added

— Unable to delete some items from cart

— Delete items, refresh screen and items are back in cart, sometimes with additional items that you didn’t put there

This started during a time period that I made no updates and had no updates waiting.

WordPress 4.3.1 running Mystile theme.

None of the image files show on this plugin. I have installed it and it doesn’t work. I have deleted the plugin and re-installed it and it still doesn’t work.

As a result I have had to remove the CAPTCHA fields off all my forms (5) and leave the area blank – but I don’t want to do this. I have contact form 7 installed and it prompts me to download this plugin every time I try to add a CAPTCHA field.

I would dearly love this plugin to show but it won’t. Any suggestions?

NexGEN Disabled few Functionalities in my Theme

I was looking for a gallery & installed NexGEN. But now my theme is malfunctioning like menu disappears when I shrink browser window or open in other small screen device, My contact forms css, jscript etc not working.

Is there any way to solve this issue OR only uninstallation is the solution.???
