to support custom shortcodes when using the extension “Send Email with Mandrill”, you should add something like this to the BNFW plugin code:
//fix shortcode for mandrill SMTP
add_filter( 'mandrill_payload', function( $message ) {
$message['html'] = do_shortcode( $message['html'] );
return $message;
}, 100, 1 );
It fixes the issue where custom shortcodes are not replaced when using this particular SMTP plugin.
]]>I have been recommended your plugin by WP Fusion, however, when I activate ‘WP Remote Users Sync’, I get the following error message on two separate websites with different setups that both use Mandrill.
Mandrill: wp_mail has been declared by another process or plugin, so you won’t be able to use Mandrill until the problem is solved.
Is there anything way to work around this error?
]]>I have two questions:
1. Alongside wp_mail() I also have the mandrill PHP library in my code and send emails via that. Is there any build in hooks or process I can use to add these emails to the log? Or should I be adding them direct to the database with my own code?
2. When Mandrill has downtime it will return a json object with an error for emails that are not delivered. Is there anything in place at the moment that checks for result returned by server and then displays this in the interface or should this be something I custom build?
Thanks for the help in advance!

Thanks !
]]>Using the latest version of everything, we’re getting warnings on the plugin not being updated. I do realise that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, but you might want to release (even if just) an update to quieten down plugins like WordFence complaining.
Cheers
