A relative newbie wanting to know how I make the latest post show in full and all others in excerpt (including a thumbnail of the image) on the main posts page.

Removing borders in "Manifesto" theme

i just installed “Manifesto” theme on my website but the problem is there’s a thick border on every image which doesn’t look good.

i did a little research and i just found some topics which they were saying to find

div.cover img {
border: 5px solid #333333;
}

and change 5px solid #333333 to none.

but the problem is there’s no “div.cover img” code in my CSS. what should i do? please help me.

by the way the version of my theme is “1.4.5”

[Plugin: Infinite scroll] Infinite scroll loads 404 page at the end of posts

I have installed Manifesto theme on my wordpress. I also added in “Infinite scroll plugin (Version 2.0b2.120226)”. It all works fine – I scroll down, get to the end of posts, new posts that used to be on page 2 get loaded in and than happens my problem:

It loads a “404 – Page Not Found” under posts a few times, and than it loads the “End of posts” message.

How can I leave out those 404 error pages? (I understand it has to find those to know the end of posts, but I don’t want to load and display them on the listing).

Can someone please assist me with the infinite scroll plug in. I cannot get it to work.
I am using the Manifesto 1.01 theme. Here is a screenshot of the available fields:
