DS CF7 Math Captcha Refresh Button not working

Hello,
I am currently using the DS CF7 Math Captcha plugin with a WordPress version 6.7.2 and Contact Form 7 version 6.0.4. The integration of the captcha and the validation of the form work well, but I have a problem with the refresh button, this doesn’t trigger any action. No console errors or similar are displayed. On page refresh, however, a new captcha is generated as expected.

Any idea what the problem could be and how I can fix this behavior?

Nothing but positives. We added this to our Gravity Form in order to obtain the dynamic math captcha. One can create a simple math captcha in GF but not dynamically changing for each form load insofar as I can determine. And GF google captcha Ver 3 is a pain with the need for google api keys.

So we added this plugin and it was very easy – add the captcha field to the form, select “math” in the settings for the field and done!

We find that Gravity Forms Zero Spam plugin was helping to deter spam entries but it with this captcha is 100% so far for spam prevention.

Math Captcha in Register form does not show up

Hello!

I am using Ultimate Member v2.8.2 and Ultimate Member – Extended Features & Functionalities v2.0.5 (latest of both plugins).

I enabled “Math Captcha in Register form” in the UM Extended Settings, but it does not show up on the Registration page form.

More context:

I have been using these plugins for years now, until recently when there was a breaking change, and I had to update my “Math Captcha” plugin. It stopped working since then.
I have reCaptcha enabled too, and that works correctly.
I have tried individual plugin (standalone) and via UM Extended – behaves the same way

Is there anything I need to change/add to the Registration Form to make the Math Captcha appear?

Hi dear support,

I am designing the login page with Divi and the math captcha is working fine. But neither the input for the result, nor the math question is showing up. Sure, it must be the thing that I am using modules in divi and AIOS doesn’t recognize it as a login page.

Is there a possibility to show the math captcha manually? like a shortcode or a snippet?

Log in screen keeps telling me the anser to the maths question is wrong

Hi All. On my login page i anser the maths question correctly and it keeps telling me the answer is wrong. I have even cleared all cache’s and tried different systems and differnet browsers. I have logged into the webserver and removed the jetpack plugin but it still appears with the maths question. It is always the same 9+8 = no matter which system or browser i use.

I therefore cannot log in at all. How can i solve this issue please?

first i want to say how much i appreciate your Plugin!

With your latest Version 5.8.1 you included a warning for unsafe mail-configuration. I understand the importance to fight against the abuse of forms, but is there a way to get rid of the warning without using google’s reCaptcha or Akismet?

I’m using your really simple CAPTCHA or math Captcha, a honeypot and also blackhole for minimizing the risk bots filling the forms – that works fine, i don’t have bots filling CF7-Forms.

Did you plan to implement a configuration checkbox or automatic detection etc. for free plugins that reduces spam to avoid the validation warning?

This is a great contact form addon for Elementor. I love the idea of making this way to use the Elementor editor. We can make any layout for the contact form using this addon.

Please add math solving in the simple captcha. I want to keep two options, simple captcha or math captcha along the re-Captcha.

Thank you so much for developing this Elementor addon. This addon deserves 5 stars.

WPML Math Captcha issue

Hi. I use the plugin in a bilingual website. There is no way I can find the phrase “Type the Math. How much is:”. I tried in all strings. I tried to rescan the plugin and everything. I tried admin screen strings.

Where is that value in WPML to translate from English to another language? Or how can that be translated? It is bad to show wrong language texts in comment forms.

Hi,
For some reason the math recpatcha no longer works. We noticed a big uptick in spam user registrations, after some investigation it turns out the math captcha, when left blank or solved incorrectly doesn’t stop the registration.

Any idea what’s going on?
