Media Button Not Working

I am trying to create a new blog post, but the media button is not working. It’s not working on old posts either. All I want to do is add photos to my blog, a typically very simple task. I searched the forum and found solutions, but all were highly technical. Will you please provide ideas or solutions for someone with WP basics?

I am attempting to add pictures to my blogs and the “Add media” button worked a few weeks ago…but now does not…
This is very frustrating!!!

I’ve read the Master List and have done ALL of the troubleshoots (disabled plugins, cached my browser, tried another browser, disabled Cloudfare and other caching plugins) as well as made my host upgrade my PHP version. NA-DA. I’m at wits end.

The media buttons in my WordPress visual editor just add an extra “#” at the end of the URL in the address bar but don’t pop up or do anything. I can add Media in the Media Gallery but the buttons on the editor just don’t work.

I hope someone will be able to help me My host says to restore backup but my last backup was from January

I’ve checked a lot of posts and most deal with earlier versions. Does anyone have a fix on the “add Media” button not functioning after updating wp 3.92?

Hi, I downloaded WordPress 3.6 on my wordpress website and the add media button is not working. I know I have searched other forums and they say to go into the wordpress config file and add a certain code, then re-download that certain file of wordpress into their website, I have tried this and it did not work for me. I know it is a javascript problem, but I don’t know how to fix it, I have tried using safari, firefox, googlechrome to edit information on my website and the media button still does not work on any of the servers. Could someone please help?
