But when I use this image in a post using the image+ block. i.e. the one that says, “Add image with multiple customizations”
and inspect the srcset attribute, I only see two width specifications, 780w and 360w. Also, they both point to the same image, img.jpg
srcset="img.jpg ,img.jpg 780w, img.jpg 360w"
sizes="(max-width: 480px) 150px"
Irrespective of screen dimensions, it always loads img.jpg
. Why is this? Shouldn’t srcset show the other images and load the appropriate ones based on screen dimensions?
Surprisingly, this works fine when using just the image block (one that reads, “Insert an image to make a visual statement”).
]]>I try to keep my blog and my server as clean as I can. When I delete a picture from a post, I delete it also in the library (option delete permanently).
I have discovered recently that this action doesn’t remove the webp files format an neither some “big” files with the suffix 1024×356.png …
Do you know a plugin that can help to delete all the files attached to an originale picture. Or do you know if this bug will be corrected in the next WordPress update?
Thanks
]]>2. write the post
3. add a featured image
4. add additional media(MP4 1.5min in length)
5. link to Ig, Facebook and mastodon
6. add categories
7. add tags
8. publish
expected behavior: publish to all three connected accounts
actual behavior: says it will only push to 2/3 account. gives a warning that due to IG business rules teh video is too long. warning has link to your support page which says reels can be 15minutes for business accounts (which I have)
Thanks so much for your help. Cheers
I have a problem with user role “Author”. Author “A” do not see media uploaded by other authors. How can I solve this problem. Tried WP Roles editors plugins but it does not help. Only one thing which I want was checking “Manage options” and then “Author” see all uploaded media but also he can edit a lot options of my wordpress website and this is bad.
]]>The plugin is incredibly easy to set up, and it integrates perfectly with WordPress. Now, I can access and manage my Dropbox files directly from the WordPress media library. It’s such a relief to have everything in one place without worrying about storage limitations.
If you’re looking for an efficient way to manage files in WordPress using Dropbox, this plugin is an absolute must-have. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a plugin that’d set a default image to posts that don’t have any, and this plugin is doing exactly that—nothing more, nothing less. It’s not creating yet another admin menu bar item with dozens of subpages. It doesn’t annoy you with constant dashboard notices. It doesn’t beg for donations or includes any watermarks.
It just works the way you expect it to work.
It’s a little sad that the bar is this low, but compared to so many other plugins, I think this needs to be pointed out—and reach more people who want a simple solution for a simple problem.
The only feature I’d have liked to see is the support for images that are unavailable and can’t be displayed to also use the default featured image. A quick glance inside the code showed quite a bit of jQuery, which wouldn’t be my first choice, but it made me think that adding a simple checkbox to have it checking for this (non-render blocking, of course) could be a useful idea.
Thanks for your work!
