I’d like some of my staff team to be able to access the WP Admin UI for creating posts and pages, but not to be able to access any MemberPress data.
I’d like other staff to be able to access the MemberPress section in view-only mode, but not be able to create or edit MemberPress data objects (subs, txns, memberships, etc.).
I’d like other staff to be able to edit MemberPress section data objects, but not be able to create or edit posts and pages on the site.
Can this functionality be added please?
]]>I have been a Polylang user for many years and never had any problems with multilingual sites, but recently I have been working on a project for multilingual site that uses premium LMS membership plugin Memberpress and its addons MP Courses and MP Quizzes within DIVI Theme. I have setup many multilingual DIVI pages with no problem, but the problem I encountered is setting up MP Courses pages (LMS system).
So, I have setup Custom Post types within Polylang settings, so I am able to have a separate courses pages for Slovenian courses/webinars page (https://mil.casoris.si/spletna-ucilnica/ – SLO is primary language) and English courses/webinars page (https://mil.casoris.si/en/spletna-ucilnica/). I was able to translate a webinar to ENG along with the quiz as you can see here: https://mil.casoris.si/en/spletna-ucilnica/how-to-read-and-understand-the-news/ … Intro, Content and Conclusion of the webinar work just fine, but the Quiz and Questionnaire do not open correctly (404 page). Now, MP Quizzes addon works together with MP Courses, but for some reason the URL does not work and it does not open.
Now, if I change Polylang URL modifications setting to “The language is set from content” then Quiz works just fine, but my question is how I can make it work with the current option “The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks”? I wrote to Memberpress support but they were not able to help because they do not support Polylang and multilingual sites in general.
So, I was wondering if you could possibly help me with this issue that is causing me headaches? Everything else works just fine on the website https://mil.casoris.si/ as you can see for yourself.
Please let me know ASAP. Thanks!
]]>I have been using your plugin on various websites for at least a year or two … and I like it very much, especially when there are several editors that contribute website content, so they are not annoyed with new notifications. Usually your plugin works just fine, however, the last few days I had a major problem on a website with Memberpress Courses plugin and their support helped me troubleshoot the problem, pinpointing Admin Notices Manager plugin as a culprit for the problems that I experienced on the back end.
It’s hard to explain the problem by writing, so here is screencast that I recorded for Memberpress support: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cZQOYsVSCTC
As you can see, there are some display problems in WP back-end (Posts, Pages etc), and after we disabled Admin Notices Manager plugin, those problems went away. So, it seems there is some conflict with WP settings or PHP code there?
Well, after Memberpress helped pinpoint the problem related to Admin Notices Manager, I checked another website where I use Admin Notices Manager and have a little display problem as well … here is the screenshot: https://ibb.co/MDQRWLD
As you can see, there is an error code above text on Updates page and that error code goes away if I disable Admin Notices Manager plugin. So, again, there is some conflict with WP settings or PHP code there. Or is it conflicting with DIVI Theme, maybe?
Can you please look into that and see if your plugin is compatible with the latest WordPress 6.6.2? it says it was updated 1 day ago, but that’s not true, either (latest update according to your own changelog is ver. 1.5.0 (2024-06-05)).
Also, as others already reported times, there are some notifications that cannot be hidden, some that cannot be dismissed and there are some that do not even show in Admin Notification area (have to disable plugin to see them). So, it would be great to improve the plugin in that way, too.
Please let me know if you can figure out anything regarding conflicting views in the back-end.
Thanks, Danijel
]]>Since members 3.2.10 update (Membership & User Role Editor Plugin), i got the following error message
( ! ) Warning: Attempt to read property “ID” on string in wp-content\plugins\wpdiscuz\utils\class.WpdiscuzHelper.php on line 1547
I only want users to be able to view and download the CSV table. I’ve only enabled the capabilities below and things work but the user gets a lot more access than they should for Memberpress.
They can edit and delete transactions do the same for subscriptions. They can see reports and the settings page. I can’t see memberpress exposing granular capabilities. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
]]>I have seen this triggers for your MemberPress add-on:
. User completes a lesson of a course
. User starts a course
. User completes a course
. User views a course
Then I have seen this action for your Google Sheet add-on:
. Add a row to a spreadsheet
Thanks!
]]>I’m currently using a font from Adobe fonts on my headings. Unfortunately in my MemberPress course this is not showing up and it’s resetting to default theme font.
This is the message I received from the MemberPress Support team, let me know if you can help me.
When they’re using Adobe Fonts there must be some way that Adobe Fonts are being used on their site. We need to know how the Fonts Plugin pass font on site. Most of the time there is some local file in plugin but they will need to contact plugin author to get more details on how to include and use font on different parts of the site.
Let me know how to proceed please
Carlo
