Hi, I don’t know if this is possible in UM but we have a requirement where we want to be able to include a dropdown on a registration form that displays the different membership directories allowing the user to select one – is this possible?

Member Rolls not saved in membership directory

Hello,

I’m having troubles with saving member rolls in the membership directory. I created member rolls for every department of my uni to show which members are in which department. Sadly the membership directory does not save the selected member rolls. Everything else I can select is saved correctly.
In addition to that I looked in my db and the um db is totally empty. I don’t think thats right either.

Can someone help me with my problem? My prof and I looked everywhere and couldn’t find a solution.

Costom Date Field Auto populating when empty

Hi,
I have set up some custom date fields for my members profiles (ie, Birthday, Membership Start Date, Parter Birthday, Wedding Anniversary).
Only, when a user does not populate these fields, todays date (the date a user is added to the website) is put is displayed in its place.
Is it possible to hide date fields that have not been populated?

How to search member directory via “Online Status” field?

I installed the um_online extension and it works well for the most part (has a bit of a delay to show “offline” status when users log out). However, I can’t search the Member directory for “online” status despite the field being active as a search category.

Is this an intended behavior? Is what I am trying to do an impossible feature with Ultimate Member?

I am considering using Paid Memberships Pro for a new website. The client wants membership lists with inactive members filtered out. Your “Member Directory” add-on looks good, but I cannot discover whether it does this filtering or not. Does it? If not, what would be your charge for making it do so?

Remove Admin from Membership Directory

My two Admin/Administrators are showing in the membership directory on the frontend and I cannot remove them. I have Member only in the User roles to display in the directory but they still appear. I have deactivated all plugins to see if there were any conflicts but there aren’t.

Export Members to WP User Table

I know there is away to import WP members into Simple Membership. However, is there a way to export the Simple Membership list to WP member table?

I need to add a membership a directory to my website and I found another plugin that will meet my needs but it looks at the WP user table.

Member Directory Plugin Recommendation needed!

I have a client who wants to create a Membership Directory on their website. They want listings of individuals and their contact information and they have a laundry list of items they would like this directory to accomplish.

A few requirements:
1) ability to upload new members via .csv file
2) ability to export directory of members at any time into .csv file
3) search function
4) admin can mark directory profiles as either public or private
5) give logged-in members the ability to edit their own directory entry

I’ve tried working with the Connections Business directory plug-in, but I can’t export those members from the directory so it’s not going to work. I’m willing to explore premium (paid) plug-ins as well. Any advice?

Hi,
I work for an organization. We have a membership directory built on Microsoft Access. I would like to have a searchable directory (like a phone book) on our website for our members. Is there a plugin that can import a text file (tab) of our access database? I’d like to export a file from access, and import it into the plugin. So far, I’ve checked out Connections plugin, but it looks like you have to input each person individually.
Any help would be appreciated!

This plugin looks like it has most of the features I want, but I’m wondering if it includes the functionality to display a directory of paid members, sorted by custom fields in their profile?

If not, could you recommend such a plugin that combines paid membership management features with the directory features? I can’t believe this is so hard to find. It definitely seems to be desired by many wp users.
