I ran into an issue I couldn’t figure out how to resolve: when I have the menu setting with the effect ‘slide,’ the menu text briefly flashes after the hide animation (as you can see on the website). Different ‘event’ types didn’t matter as all had the same issue but I did notice using the effect ‘fade’ doesn’t have this problem.
Could you help me figure out what may be going on?
Thanks,
John P
]]>I’m using up-to-date WordPress and plugins. Theme is 2017, but same behavior seen on 2020. I am not using defined memberships or logged in menus.
]]>Another symptom that sometimes arises when i attempt to edit or save the menu location is it seems to delete/remove 3 main menu items hence only displays say 5 menu options instead of 7 etc.
I have tried disabling all the plugins. I have not updated for ages because updates began to cause loads of issues so I just been using the 2016 version i guess. (WordPress 4.4.14 running UU 2014 theme.)

I have been searching through the menu appearance options, but not finding anything that helps.

I rarely use WordPress and constructed this site in 2012, so am no expert and my memory of its construction is a bit hazy now. I maintain hosting the site for legacy purposes only, but update WordPress for security reasons mainly.
Advice would be warmly appreciated. The site is: https://energybiographies.org
]]>I am new to wordpress. After selecting my theme and creating all pages, when I opened my website, In my homepage, on the navigation bar along with the pages I have created I see a word ‘menu’ toggled. It’s netheir a page nor a link. It’s nothing It’s just toggled to the navigation bar. I don’t know how to remove it. I tried so many options. I even checked in the MENUs options and I don’t see any menu page there. How to remove it.

class=”main-navigation grid-container grid-parent toggled”>
My site is: education-map.com
