Navigation Menus can be edited in 2 ways:
In the first case the Site Editor shows only the navigation block in the page structure panel and this has got a locked icon: editing navigation entries is not possible and no way appears to exist to unlock the navigation menu.
In the second case the Site editor shows the template parts blocks in the page structure panel and the navigation block is where it has been placed during template development. It has no lock icon and the navigation menus entries are shown in the page structure panel on the left and, when selecting the navigation block, in the block settings on the right. Clicking a navigation menu entry on the right pops up the edit layer in this right block settings and immediately closes it again. Clicking the 3-dot icon for a navigation menu entry also opens and imediately closes again the context menu appearing for this menu entry. Clicking the visual editor space menu entry link also opens and closes the menu immediately.
In summary we cannot edit a Gutenberg navigation menu in WordPress 6.3.1. This is the case for both the staging and prodcution version of the page. No errors are shown in the debugger console.
]]>I’ve searched the forums high and low, and only found a couple threads from a VERY long time ago that no longer seem relevant.
I’ve tried reinstalling the wordpress, deactivating apps, switching themes, reinstalling themes, no matter what I tried the menu screen still shows up completely blank on the right when I hit https://hidingmywebsite.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php
I am using Elementor, I tried rolling back the version and that didn’t work.
The fact I’m not seeing this happening in the forums currently tells me, it’s 100% me, but I just can’t figure this out.
Any help would be greatly appreicated.

]]>This is the normal menu when WP Members is deactivated, pretty familiar to most:
Example normal WP menu management screen
This is the all-but-disappeared menu-editing page when WP Members is activated.
Example abnormal WP Menu Mgmt screen
Now I have been using WP Members forever on lots of sites, never had this problem before.
Did something change in a recent update? As it is here, it is impossible to manage a menu with WP Members on.

]]>I’m unable to edit my Menu section and i tried deactivating all plugins and then activated one by one to check which plugin has issue with. I got to know that it’s the Woocomerce plugin due to which i’m unable to edit the menu section.
Any suggestions on how to fix it ?

]]>I have a well-established website which had 1500+ daily unique visitors till 5 months ago. It has 25,000+ posts. Basically, it is a news website. So I used to publish 15 to 20 posts/news on daily basis.
But then suddenly I started getting a lot of problems. I am stating different problems below:
I can’t use WordPress Jetpack plugin. If I activate the plugin, it starts giving the memory limit error. I tried to delete the plugin and reinstall it, but nothing happened.
I can’t use Redirection plugin. Same problem as with the JetPack.
I can’t edit the Menu. If I try to edit the menu, the browser keeps working without reloading the page. When I stop or refresh the page, the deleted or edited menu is still in its old condition.
I can’t edit the old posts. Like if I publish a post just now and then I find that there is some problem in the post I just published, I can’t edit that post. When I edit it, it shows me that post is edited and I can see the edited post on live site as well. But when I see the same post from a browser where I am not login as an admin or another user, I see the unedited post which has the problem.
My website is hosted on fatcow on a WordPress Managed Hosting Package. I have contacted the support many times and they worked to solve the problems (at least the told me that they are working) for weeks but no luck…
It is difficult for me to move my site to any other host as the website has almost 12GB data.
Is there anything I can do about this?
]]>Creating a new one is only possible under Chrome (not under IE), and once it’s saved, it becomes impossible to edit too.
My other site which has not be upgraded to 4.0 yet works fine. Help please…
]]>Upon further examination, I found the only options on the “Appearance” tab was themes and editor. Widgets, Header, and Menus are missing. I can manage plugins.
Any ideas?
