Menu under dashboard not appearing

When I log into the website’s wordpress to try and edit the site I only have:

Dashboard
Jetpack
Profile
Appointment and hour booking
WP security
and collapse menu

as options. I did not create and set up this website, Ive taken it over for the company. I read through some other forms and things about changing settings under profile but I do not have those options. The only box option that I have that would change anything is: tool bar (Show Toolbar when viewing site) which is clicked.

There werent any WordPress accounts that seemed to be tied to any of the websites made either. As I had to create this one when I tried using forgot password to see if there were any. I dont know if that effects some of the issues I am having? or how I go about fixing it. So far I am only having this menu issue, and lack of access with one of the websites. I dont know how I am supposed to change what accesses I should have either, as the recorded admin isnt set up or correct either.

Cannot update Navigation Menu

The theme will not show my updated menu/order of menu/new menu. I tried everything my little brain could think of. Even Chatgpt was stumped. I tested another theme and my revised menu is working fine.

I here to report that my dropdown menus for my website (Desktop Mode) don’t work on page that are optimised. I have been battling with this for 4 days now. Please I really need help with this.

You can try navigating to other pages of the website that are not optimized to understand what I mean.

Removeing categories from the toggle menu

When i click the hamburger menu, i get my main menu, that i have set and then under it is categories, how do i get rid of that header and all the listed categories?

“Uncategorized” Still in Menu

Hi there!

I just installed and activated this plugin, and on the Admin Panel, everything looks as it should, I think. However, on the website itself, “Uncategorized” still shows up on the menu. When I click it, it no longer leads me to a page that looks like it would hold blog posts; instead, it just takes me to my homepage.

How do I remove it from the menu altogether?

Plugins Menu Button Disappeared After Installing WP Staging

I just installed WP Staging. After installing, I no longer see the “Plugins” option in the menu. I thought to uninstall WP Staging but I’m unable to because I am unable access my Plugins. How can I fix this?

Menu hover and clickability

I’ve managed to get the desired font color and font hover color on my website. However, I noticed when I’m on a page, that page in the menu bar is highlighted in a dark grey rectangle. Is there a way to remove that and have the page I’m on be highlighted just by the blue hover text? I also noticed when I click on one of the pages in the menu bar, there is a white dotted rectangle outline if I move the mouse slightly. Can that be fixed?

I changed “private client portal” to Client Portal in the Nav Menu but it does not change at the front end.

I created it again as a new menu item, saved it, nothing changed.

I tried all of the usual cache clearing to no avail.

I then added a totally different menu item from my list, that too didn’t show on the front end. I’ve had this site for years and never had a problem like thi, and haven’t added anything new that may be causing the problem.

Back story: I pointed my Domain to another private site – BUT kept the BLOG on my current WP site. To do this I changed the name of the BLOG site.
I (about a year later) created new pages for my revamped website in original WP site and then pointed my original Domain back to the original WP site – where the BLOG still is.

CURRENT PROBLEM:
I added pages to the ‘BLOG’ menu (named BLOG) but it didn’t work so I created a new menu, which also didn’t work.

By “didn’t work” I mean that the Menu appears on the BLOG page (with all content) and it will link to other pages, BUT those pages don’t show the MENU and therefore no one can access the other pages.

If I use any other Menu, the BLOG page shows up without any posts at all and still, the pages don’t have any links.

Can you help?
