Hello anybody reading this! I’m working on a blog and I really like how Huffington Post has the post title directly in the menu.

Example: Go to the link I added, or visit any Huffington Post article and start scrolling down.

My question is simply: How can you add the current page title as the menu label?

Is there an easy way to do this that I am missing? I’m assuming not. Searched tirelessly, but I couldn’t find anything (and I’m not a developer). Thanks ahead of time!

What happened to the Menu Label field in the Main Settings for All-in-One-SEO?
It seem to disappear from the last update 2.3.11 of the All-in-One-SEO plugin.
All my menus are now messed up.

Please bring it back.

Multisite – only Superadmin user can add html code in menu labels

I’ve just discovered that on a multisite installation, only Superadministrators can add html to Menu Labels. I have some linebreaks in some of my menu labels. Unfortunately it seems that any time a colleague, logged in as an administrator, saves the menu, all the code in the labels is lost. If I grant them Superadmin privileges then the code is kept in the label when saved.

I do not wish these colleagues to be Superadministrators.

Possible to make menu label dynamic based on content in dropdown?

I am using the UberMenu plugin. The primary menu item has a dropdown that displays a widget area. The widget has a list of links in an unordered list format.

I need the label of the primary menu item to be whatever link was clicked in the widget from the dropdown.

How on earth can I go about getting this done?!

Quick example to hopefully illustrate my needs a little better:

Regional Menu > (dropdown includes)

< li >United States< /li >
< li >Canada< /li >
< li >Australia< /li >
< li >Germany< /li >

When one of the countries is clicked, the label changes from “Regional Menu” to the country selected.

Label Menù non funzionano

Sto riscontrando un problema sulle Label del Menù: anzichè visualizzare l’etichetta delle voci di menù, viene sempre visualizzato il titolo della pagina, sia in italiano che in inglese.
In WordPress, in Aspetto -> Menu, ho personalizzato le voci menù come ho letto in questa quida: https://www.alessandrosenese.eu/en/ceceppa-multilingua/menu , ho quindi inserito etichette (navigation label) personalizzate. Ma queste vengono ignorate, visualizza sempre il titolo della pagina nel menù. Questo succede anche con i temi di default come ad esempio Twenty Eleven.
Sto usando WordPress 3.9.1, Ceceppa 1.4.27 e questi sono i plugin che ho installato:

Menu Label not supported by Yoast plugin

I have searched for this on the forum with no luck. “Menu Label” from All In One SEO doesn’t seem to have an equivalent on Joast’s SEO plugin. This is a handy function that re-writes the text that is displayed on the navigation buttons, rather than using the title.

Anyone have a a workaround for this with Yoast?
