Hi, guys!

A small feedback: your plugin is really cool, and I almost paid money for it, but it missing the merge cells feature. The issue is that many tables with data have sub-column headers. For-example:

Temperature

Main room Guest room ?

21 34
34 15

Probably subheader feature is simplier to do than the merge cells feauture. But it’s needed indeed in one way or another

Dear author,

I just want to thank you for this great plugin. I have just installed and started using it, and I found something which I don’t know if it is a bug or not. It is the merge cells feature in the advance table block.
When I merge the second column’s fields using SHIFT (see image), I cannot merge both fields of the third column. I tried SHIFT or CTRL and none of them worked. This is what it shows when I select both fields from the third column. It selects everything from the second column, third column and part of the fourth column. Why is this happening?

How to merge cells in Table press shall be row wise or column wise, I am using the Table press plugin in a client’s website as I am in the process of creating the table I found the need to merge 2 or more adjacent cells row wise or column wise How to do that?

Bug with merged cells

There is a bug with merged cells. In my table consisting of ca 20 rows 3 of them have merged cells (two first columns are merged). When I move a row from one position to another (for example row 10, so that is 5 now. Row 7 was merged), merges fall apart. It seems the same row number remains merged. But after the movement of rows row no 7 is now row no 8. And this row should have merged cells. Not row no 6 (which is no 7 now). It is easy to reproduce – any row movement with some cells merged destroys them completely.

I see reference to #colspan# in support threads, but don’t see any documentation on how to use it or how it works.

I would like to create sections in a comparison table by having a row “heading” span all columns. In an HTML table, I would use colspan to do this, is it possible with this plugin?

Cannot merge columns – workaround suggestions?

I’d like to merge all the columns into one so that I can write a label across it (ie across all the columns).

But merging cells is not possible now.

I’m wondering if anybody’s got a suggested workaround for this? My table has a number of sections and I want to be able to label the heading for each section.
