Background color in the widget

Hi,
I am using the latest Mingle Forum activity widget and set it to the latest 15 posts.
I would like to make a clearer distinguish between the even and the odd comments by giving the even one a greyish background color.
How would you do that withh CSS?

Old pages in a thread disappearing

For some reason I have a thread where pages 1-17 of the thread are not displaying at all. Pages 18-21 are loading just fine.

Not sure how to fix this. As far as I can tell, this is the only thread with this issue. It’s also of a particular urgency because someone is currently trying to review the older pages to create a compilation using the content in those pages.

Dashboard ~ Jetpack ~ Profile MingleForum

Hi, I am using WordPress 3.5.1 and have the Twenty Eleven theme installed. I just installed the MingleForum and it looks great. I like the way it looks and responds. The issue I have is when a user logs into the forum they have access to the Dashboard and also gives them access to the Jetpack through the Dashboard.

The Dashboard feature gives them the WordPress Blog and WP News. I can live with this.
The Jetpack gives them the option to link their account to WordPress.com and activate and I assume deactivate the Jetpack features. I can’t live with this.

If you can give me some information I would really appreciate it. I am new to the Internet language and if you give me some direction with your plugin it would be much appreciated.

MingleForum Plugin

I have just recently installed MingleForum and everything looks great and the install went smooth. The problem is, when a new user registers, the Forum gives them access to Jetpack under the Dashboard with the option of logging into WordPress.com to update Jetpack. The MingleForum designer said to use Peters Login Redirect Plugin. The problem is I can’t figure out how to configure Peters Login Redirect to omit Jetpack. Any help would be appreciated. In layman terms please, I am new to this.

Ning Forum or WordPress/Mingle Forum

I was commenting my Forum on WordPress looks quite basic. They suggested the Ning Forum looks and works more professional. They even explained it is possible to have a Forum in Ning and then integrate that with you WordPress page. Anyone any experience with this? What so much better about Ning Forums?

Importing Mingle Forum content to Simple:Press

Has anyone had experience importing Mingle content into SimplePress, or any other forum software for that matter into Simple Press? Their plugin has an importing section that supports vbulletin, bbpress, simplemachines, phpbb and wp-forum to be exported into it, (ie. groups, forums, users and topics) but it asks for some very vague information. For example, for Mingle importer it asks for:

Mingle Database Name
Mingle Database User Name
Mingle Database Password
Mingle Database Host
Mingle Table Prefix
Wordpress User Table Prefix

Since I set up Mingle as a plugin, I never named a database or set up anything like that. I am dumbfounded where to find it.

I have 170 users, 3300 posts and 700 topics to import, which is impossible to do manually. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to manipulate font size in a new post on the forums?

I have searched and searched for hours witout luck.
The reason I am looking for this, is to provide a better overview when writing tutorial posts.
