Cannot sign onto my website

Hi,
I cannot sign onto my wordpress site. I use The Minimal theme.

I contacted my hosting site (HostGator) who informed me that my theme needs to be updated; they note an issue yet it is with WorkPress.

What do I do? Again, I cannot sign into my site at all, so I cannot update anything.

Really stunning, professional minimalism at work. Like little diary entries, so adorable. Unisex, however, so don’t let my gushiness confuse you. This will work with any audience. Perhaps a suggestion is to add the option of a sidebar, to present key information or links to other posts there so they get more notice. The only reason I am not currently using this theme is I have ties to the owner of my current theme. However it is compelling to switch, for my poetry blog would probably do well with this formatting. Keep up the marvelous work, guys.

Dear YOP poll creators and users,

I am hoping to use the Yop poll plugin on a website for an online graphic novel, and am looking for a theme that works with Yop poll.

I previously used Lay theme to create my website emccollard.com and would like to build a similar simple layout for my new site. Unfortunately Yop poll doesn’t seem to be compatible with Lay theme.

Can you recommend a design/ portfolio/ minimal and easy to use theme that looks great on any screen (including phones) and works with Yop poll?

I downloaded X theme for now, but while i’m sure it’s great for more complex sites, I just want something that has less options and doesn’t require watching a couple of days worth of youtube videos to create a super-paired down simple site where the focus is on my drawings.

any suggestions would be super welcome!

Great theme for my text-only blog

My blog is a text-only blog. I tried out a lot of themes, but most of them seemed to be optimized for webpages and blog posts with pictures and are looking poor, if you use them for a blog like mine.

So I was so happy finding McLuhan. It is fast, looks very clean and the readability is great.

I love its minimal design especially on mobile screens and most of my readers use mobile phones to visit my site.

The only thing I had to customize was that I had to turn off the related posts photo placeholders, because I don’t have photos. Anders Norén, the theme author, gave some additional CSS-code in the Support Forum, that works perfectly for me, too.

Thank you very much for your work on this theme!
Generally I like to start from scratch because I do not like to have a bunch of stuff I do not need and then clean everything up until it has no overhead to start with. But I was searching for a really minimal theme to just getting started and helping me saving some time in production with basic stuff. I FOUND IT Blankslate has just the right amount of helpful presets for me.

Insert WordPress into page? completely new to wordpress and don’t know PHP

I know this is a complete newb issue but. I have my entire website built in xhtml and css so I don’t want a theme. All I want is a bear minimum (posts with date and category) that I can plug into my site but I cant find anything like that. As I said I don’t know php which is probably whats really holding my back. I think I’d even be ok with a theme without any menus headers and footers that I could just put in a frame. Thanks for your help
