Hosting Company Redesigned Website – Lost Blog

My website is hosted on Yahoo Small Business which came with a www.ads-software.com blog as part of the website package back in 2010. I recently had Yahoo redesign my website (I had designed the first one). During the redesign, they have LOST my blog (error 404).
I no longer have access to the backend of the blog, which I did until June 2021. Yahoo started the redesign work in April and just finished…with the missing blog. They were supposed to keep a link to the blog.
Yahoo is now asking me for the URL, which Yahoo originally set up with www.ads-software.com in 2010. I have the words to the URL, but of course, they go nowhere.
Can anyone here help me retrieve 11 years of blog posts? Or send me some kind of tech support documents I can send them? I’ve searched the documentation and forums and found information about changing a URL, but I don’t know if that will help. Thank you, and sorry for the long explanation.

Tried to log in today to write a new post and found that my blog is missing.

Here is the error code:

Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required ‘/home/shaunch/public_html/wordfence-waf.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in Unknown on line 0

Per your ideas above, I can’t update anything … there’s nothing to update. Exact steps to reproduce, just try to visit my blog. I have tried contacting someone at WP all afternoon … got zip. Contacted JetPack, and they referred me to you and a plugin called Wordfence. I can assure you I did not install it … never heard of it, never saw it.

Please help … I’ve been writing here for several years … can’t believe everything could be gone.

Missing blog posts after WP update

Missing blog

I have built a website using one of the Press75 themes. It all looks fine on my computer but no one else can see it. All they can see is a landing page with the word ‘Anticipate’ and a timer bar showing 10%.

Hi! It’s been months since I last posted in my blog but I always log-in. A few days back I even got an e-mail that there was a new comment but only today that I tried to visit my blog.

The problem is that, when I went to my blog it only shows “O” in the upper left corner. Even the login page is showing the same. I have no idea what happened.

Please I badly need help! I don’t have any back-up of my posts.

My main blog is dahnjacob.com, but my other two blogs under this domain is working properly.

Anyway, I am not sure which version I am using in my blog.

Blog is missing completely

So I’ve read through over 20 of similar posts but I seem to be different because I can’t pull up anything AT All after trying to update my wordpress. My site is www.leahmossphotography.com/blog and I’ve tried www.leahmossphotography.com/blog/wp-login.php and I can’t get in at all. Thankfully I did do a backup before I tried the upgrade, but it was saved as a GZ file and not sure what to do with it because I can’t even get onto the site at all. If someone could “dumb down” an answer for me I’d greatly appreciate it!!! Help!!!!!

Blog posts gone on blog page

This problem started when I deactivated socialize and installed & activated shareaholic, which didn’t work, nothing showed. Since then I’ve deactivated & uninstalled both of those plugins.

On the blog page in my custom theme: only the last post shows
Switching to 2011, NONE of posts show
Other issues now on blog page: the admin bar at the top of the page is gone, the right hand column that had a search bar & the company’s address has disappeared as well.

when viewing just one category, all posts in that category show, regardless of theme.

here’s what I’ve tried, all to no avail:
– deactivating all plugins (askimet, advanced excerpt, easing slider, jetpack, options framework, social media widget, wp database backup)
– switching back & forth between 2011 and 2010 and my theme
– rename the folder “plugins” to “plugins.hold”
– updating permalinks by choosing the default permalink structure or re-saving your current structure at Settings > Permalinks in your admin panel so that WordPress will rebuild the .htaccess file

any other ideas? thanks

can't see blog, just folders
