The display and functionality is top notch, but it has been problematic for me on a few different sites. First off, I never know when updating it is going to give me a fatal error – I have received several different errors, but the worst is the dreaded Freemium bug (do a search) which is the most time consuming to fix. Another bug is disappearing galleries, my older galleries (we’re talking a few weeks btw) just disappeared leaving the message ” The gallery was not found!” on the pages in question, and they are just gone in the back end. Premium may clear it up a bit, maybe, but the price does not seem to be a very good value being twice as much for one plug in than many reputable groups charge for a whole package. But like I said, both the display and functionality are top notch, when the plugin is working.

Is it safe to click this update?

today I have noticed in my WordPress that created gallery is missing, and now it shows up a message

“!!! IMPORTANT NOTICE !!!
Update Plugin Settings Those Users Was Using Version 1.0.7 Or Previous Once

It will prevent you to loose your previouly created galleries and settings.”

Is it safe to click this and restore the missing portfolio gallery?

Product gallery missing

Hi,

The 3.6 update broke the login and cart function. 3.6.1. fixed this.
But now the product gallery is not showing up. We use 3 images per product but only the main image is shown.

Is there a fix for this?

Gallery does not show on mobile devices

Hi, so i have a few nextgen galleries on my website, and they work fine. But all of them have a problem. When i check the gallery on my desktop cpomuter it shows, no mather if i check various resolutions/devices.
But when i try to look at it on my mobile phone it does not show. Why is that?

Hi guys,

love yout plugin! I think i found a quite bad big bug.
Situation: WP 4.8.1, standard 2017 theme, no other plugins but Polylang active.
First language of my site ist german, second english.
Copied all the contents in source mode from german to english.
On the german page, the media gallery (wp orginal) is working fine.
On the english page, no gallery is showing up.
When trying to insert media from the library in the english page, error says “no media files found”.
As soon as i deactivate Polylang, all the Gallery images show up again and also inserting into the page through “add media” is possible again.

Non productive homepage so far, url and admin on request by PM.

Updated NGG now my Home Page Slider has gone missing

Hello,
I am relatively new to the wonderfully complicated world of WordPress. We had our site built years ago, and I maintain it and keep it up to date. Recently I was struggling with sort orders for one of our galleries, I looked up the issue, found a solution, which did not work. It was suggested that I update my NextGen Gallery plugin to the latest version, which I did, and sure enough, that fixed my sort order issue. HOWEVER. In the process it has eliminated a slider I had on my homepage that also uses NGG. The gallery itself is still on my wordpress, and I can still manipulate the images and text as I please. If I pull up the coding on the homepage I still see the gallery there. But when I load the actual website the top bar is empty and my slider is no where to be seen.

I am running WP 4.5.1
I updated NGG to the latest update (Sorry, I don’t know what version it was before, but it was old)
I can post images of the source coding that shows the gallery is still present on the site if needed.

Cannot Insert NextGEN Gallery in Post – Gallery Missing from Drop-down List

I just created a new gallery, uploaded images, they’re all there in “Manage Gallery.” But when I create a new post and click on the green “Insert NextGEN Gallery” button, the new gallery is NOT listed in the drop-down menu for me to select. I already updated the plugin and issue still exists.

[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Cant add new gallery after upgrade.

I have just upgraded to WP 2.7 and then upgraded Next Gen also.

Since the upgrade I can not add a new gallery. When I type the gallery name and enter nothing happens. (doesnt give me the gallery id number etc)

Looking at the gallery list it is not there – however when I look at the content/images file the new gallery folder has been added there.

Its just not showing in the Next Gen admin.

How do I fix this?

(Ive re-installed the upgrade files twice – just in case. But that hasnt changed it)

Hello,

I am currently having some issues with NextGEN Gallery. It seems that my images and gallery’s are only being displayed on the main page (home) and in the actual post. Everywhere else I am seeing the shortcode (ex: or [singlepic=7,640,480,,center])

I have gone through hundreds of posts on the forum and haven’t seen anything that seems to help. Is this something simple?
