Vital page Missing – Suddenly

This is a key page on the site, and has just disappeared today.

It is still there, you just can’t navigate to it. The LOCAL Home and LOCAL Wales should go straight to it – but don’t. I have disabled all plugins, cleared cache and no difference.

I also have two plugins that might be responsible, but no difference.

Deleted page still showing

I am about to redo my website and have created an Under Construction page. This is the page you are supposed to go to when typing in the address.

On mobile you still come to the regular front page of my site, even after I have physically deleted the page. It is now in the trash, still it is the page that shows up on mobile, I have refreshed and emptied cache several times. On desktop it has been a bit back and forth with the regular page and the UC page.

This has been an issue for a while. It started with the cover image going missing, and nothing I did would change that. Changing the image did nothing. On mobile you just saw that little broken image icon in the top corner. Deleting the images did not help.

Any ideas on what to do?

Update button on Services page not working + can’t publish new page

Hi there, my Update button in my Services page was previously greyed out, and my Services page disappeared from my website.

After I read forum comments, I changed contents from Classic Editor to Block Editor, and now the Update button is back. However, my Services page remained inaccessible and will auto redirect to main homepage instead.

I have updated my wordpress, theme and plug-ins. I have also did a Healthcheck to delete all inactive themes & plug-ins. The Jetpack happiness support engineer said this is beyond their domain, asked me to deactivate Simple Website Redirect plug-in, which I did, but issue persisted.

I am using latest version of WordPress 5.8.3 and Astra theme.

Any assistance will be much appreciated!

Page Did not Merge with Copy and Content is Missing

One of our users submitted a page ‘copy-of-work-in-ace’. The page was sent to me through the workflow. I approved the changes and the live page didn’t get updated and the previous copy is gone. The person who worked on the page is understandable angry as they spent hours on it. I checked in the WordPress pages dashboard and am unable to locate the updated page. Please advise. Automatic lightbox plugin

I am hosting an image-based website and need a plugin to simply add lightboxes to all post’s images. All plugins I found so far require that the image is within a link tag or a gallery, which is not an option, since there are already thousands of posts that would require changes in order for this to happen.

Is there anything that simply works off an image tag?

New Registration Form gives error

I am just beginning to use Ultimate Membership and created a NEW Registration Form. I then used the Shortcode to insert into the page. Everything looks fine and works.

Except when I press the “REGISTER” button.

It spins for a second, then returns the error: Oops! That page can’t be found.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?

I can’t find any reference to which page it is trying to access. The form is doing its job and recording the data properly, but the next page is not there.

Go to jabeztrust.com. click menu “About” under About click the double “..”

Any help would be welcome.

Missing page in breadcrumb trail

I’m using the plug-in in it’s as-is form – I don’t understand most of the posts here so hope what I’m missing is just a tick-box

The trail is fine when I go from page to page EXCEPT when I add a raw link to another page. By raw link I mean I just type the link into the text and WP produces a preview box based on that.

The top level link shows and the page we’ve arrived at appears at the end of the trail, but the page we came via is missing.

TBH, I can live with this, but it would be great to be able to fix it.
