Als Betreiber von mehr als 15 Blogs habe ich mich nun durch gerungen und den ersten nur mit Gutenberg am laufen.

Ehrlich ich bereue es gewaltig.

Zum Einen ist dieser Editor total überladen, was ja auch zu WordPress an sich passt.

Zum Anderen l?uft dieser Editor nicht mehr auf meinem Blog sondern bei WordPress selbst, darum dauert auch die Auslieferung der geschrieben Seite gefühlte Stunden.

Heute ist es mal wieder so schlimm, dass ich 20 W?rter schreibe und ca. 2 Minuten warten mus bis mir diese W?rter angezeigt werden. Für mich der Beweis, dass ich nicht da arbeite wo ich eigentlich arbeiten will.

Sorry das Ding ist Schei?e und der gute Gensfleisch Gutenberg dreht sich im Grab herum weil so etwas nach ihm benannt wurde.

Ich werde mal schauen, ob ich mit dem normalen Editor weiter mache. Leider befürchte ich, dass die im Gutenberg geschriebenen Artikel sich im Standardeditor nicht editieren lassen.

Und seid mir sicher werte Entwickler.

Solltet ihr diesen Dreck, mehr ist es nicht, wirklich als nur einzigen Editor durchsetzen, dann wird das das Ende von WordPress sein. Zumindest für mich, denn ich werde mich unabh?ngig davon nun nach einer anderen M?glichkeit umschauen, denn diese überalterte PHP geht mir ebenfalls auf den Zeiger.

Ganz ehrlich? Das ist was für Bl?de. Als jahrelanger WordPress-Nutzer kommt Gutenberg einer Entmündigung gleich. Wir bekommen vorgesetzt, wie wir mit Blockbausteinen unsere Artikel in Kl?tzchenbauweise zusammensetzen dürfen.

Gut, dass es den alten Editor dank eines Plugins weiterhin gibt.

Ich finde Gutenberg ist eine zwangsweise angeordnete Arbeitserschwernis ohne jeglichen Vorteil für den Autor.

I just purchased the Mist theme from Bottomless designs. How do you upload this? I know you go under themes and upload a .zip file, but what is that and how do you find it?

hi,
i’m using the latest version of wordpress on my blog, https://www.bunteponys.com
it looks fine on a mac on all browsers but on a pc (ie explorer 6 windows 2000) the sidebar appears at the bottom of the blog not on the side.
i have searched everywhere for help regarding this problem and have not been able to find a working solution.
can anyone else using a pc with different set_up please let me know if the sidebar is shown correctly at the side…
i’m hoping that maybe this is just a problem with windows 2000 and ie explorer 6.0…

Borrowing from a style sheet?

All,

A buddy has the connections theme (https://vanillamist.com/blog/?page_id=64) and I really like a few things from it and tried to modify the WordPress Default theme to incorporate those features. Mainly, the style in which thes dates and times are posted, the divider.gif icon and the blockquote.gif. Well I was able to accomplish 2 out of the 3 working perfectly and I have in a nasty hack to get the divider.gif to work, but I’d rather get it working in the stylesheet vs the page.php as I have it now.

Anyways, here is my site and if you look on page 2, you can see the big red-X. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it to show the divider.gif.
