Error log fills up with mod_fcgid messages

Since long I get error messages in my error log as :

mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/clients/client13104/web75415/web/wp/wp-cron.php on line 117, referer: https://meteo-wagenborgen.nl/wp/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=1587476537.1985650062561035156250

Roughly one per 30 minutes. I don’t know where it comes from, it is there already over several versions and any related google searches come up with solutions deep in code. I don’t want to be involved inn WP like that, I am a user, not a PHP coder. My performance is deteriorating and the new ‘Site Health’ status page gives the message ‘A scheduled event is late’, still functioning but may have a performance effect. That last issue I can confirm: it is performing badly.

Not working after update WP & Plugin

First thanks for this wonderful plugin!

After update to WP 5.2.2 and multiple-domain-mapping-on-single-site 1.0.3 i get a 503 error if i try to reach the “rewrited” Domain.

Error in the error-log are all like this one:
….mod_fcgid: can’t apply process slot for /var/www/php-starter/web27243763/php7.2-fcgi-wrapper, referer: https://www.mydomain.de/wp-content/themes/thetheme/css/bootstrap/bootstrap.min.css?ver=1

at first I thought okay maybe a problem with the new one so i reinstall 1.0.2, but no same problem. if i install the backup of WP 5.1.1 it works. At the moment i have reinstall wp 5.2.2 and deinstall multiple-domain-mapping all works fine.

Any suggestions?

In the past few days, I have experienced a lot of errors while making/updating a post. It would sometimes time me out. I’ve upped the timeout in mod_fcgid and PHP, but that’s obviously a workaround, not a fix.

Here’s what I see in the logs. As you can see, it only started happening since I updated core recently.

mod_fcgid: Error reading config data, configuration file could be corrupted

The Apache errorlogs of 2 of my sites were filled with these warnings:

mod_fcgid: stderr: Error reading config data, configuration file could be corrupted.

The cause was a corrupted Wordfence WAF configuration file. After a rebuild of the configuration file, the warnings disappeared. You can rebuild the configuration file on the Wordfence WAF tab, if the file is corrupted.

In my error logs I get this error

mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 45 seconds
Premature end of script headers: post.php, referer: https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?wp-post-new-reload=true

How Can I resolve these errors. These errors get popped up only when I am adding a new post or editing previous posts. And I get “500 internal server error”

Can anyone help me out in resolving this issue? My site is hosted on godaddy on VPS (virtual private server).

I have downloaded and installed — [ NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati — Version 2.1.0 ] It is NOT a pro version.

Using the interface I could create 4 different galleries and make a album of it in the last week.

Is it related to — fastcgi maximum upload time ?

Is there any restriction on number of galleries created OR number of images that can be uploaded?

The images used for upload are of .jpg types and the file size is in the range of 35 KB to 145 KB.

Can you please help out for this error?

curl_exec causes timeout on mod_fcgid

I have a very weird situation on my hands and I cannot understand what is happening. It is a true mystery.

I am using a theme called, IpinPro its basically a Pinterest clone. It all works perfectly fine with the exception for fetching images.

What makes it so mysterious is that fetching the images works perfectly fine when WP_DEBUG is set to true. When WP_DEBUG is false, the timeouts return.

So when:

WP_DEBUG = TRUE , the code below works perfectly fine

WP_DEBUG = FALSE, the code below DOESNT work and will timeout on mod_fcgid

Let me first show the code that is part of this mystery.

Everything is peachy all upto curl_exec. I added logging to a file myself, but nothing is logged.
