Theme Woo – The Morning After: Hide search and RSS

This theme comes with a search box at the top right and an RSS feed on the right hand ode of the menu bar.

I want to delete or hide both but can’t find where or how to do that.

Any ideas?

Recently updated to WordPress 4.2 and WooFramework 6.1.4 with Morning After 3.4 and the Submit Comment button has disappeared from the comments sections. It has been there since I started using the theme in 2013!

If I activate the Twenty Fifteen theme, the Submit Comment button reappears and works.

If I remove plugs ins associated with comments and my child theme it does not reappear.

It doesn’t work here:

Hide page widget in Morning After theme?

So this is hosted on WordPress.com, otherwise I’d just use a CSS hack. You can see the blog @ https://med150.wordpress.com
The pages widget has been removed from the theme widgets, and yet it still appears. If I add pages widget, there are two of them.. is this just a glitch with the theme or is there some way to get rid of that god forsaken page widget?

New PHP, Morning After theme & Woo Commerce

I recently upgraded to the latest PHP version, and after that was unable to access some of my wordpress admin pages (esp the Posts pages), returning a 500 internal server error.

If I uninstall Woo Commerce, it all works. But I’m running the latest version of the plugin, WordPress and the morning after theme, so I’m not sure why that should be a problem.

The error I get says:

[Theme: Morning After] Changing Displayed Font in Posts, Pages, and Widgets

I can’t get the page, post, or widget text to change.

I’m trying to use Verdana site wide, and while the post/page editor displays the new font, the published fonts don’t.

I’ve input “Verdana” everywhere a font is listed in the stylesheet, so I’m not sure where or what I’m missing.

Hye all,

I use The Morning After for my newsblog. Excellent wordpress template but I don’t think the format for reading a post is optimal.

Does anybody know how to make an extra left sidebar in the posts template? This way the post itself becomes smaller and more readable and there’s some more room to place a widget.

[Theme: Morning After] Inexplicably, search header misaligns itself!

Seriously. I was editing a new post, doing nothing extraordinary. I scheduled the post for publication at midnight tonight. When I went to preview the page, the search header at the top of the page had suddenly and inexplicable dropped down a good 3/4 inch or so!

I’ve had this blog running with no special problems for three months, more or less, and this is the first time something like this has happened, out of the blue. I haven’t messed with the code or anything.

I’ve since been using firebug to see if I can identify the problem, but I haven’t physically touched any code.

Anyone else ever experience this? Need to fix it, and haven’t a clue what the problem is.
