I’m trying to remove the blue circle behind the mouse cursor, but I cannot find the setting to remove it.

Hello

When I activate Jetpack lightbox, the mouse cursor becomes a hand everywhere on the pages where there are Guttenberg gallery blocks, even outside the gallery. It wrongly makes people believe they can click everywhere but they cannot.

Tested other lightboxes, they do not have the same behaviour: with them, mouse cursor behave as it should: it becomes a hand only on clickable items and is an arrow otherwise.

Seems it is a bug inherent to Jetpack lightbox. Otherwise a very neat lightbox. Really would regret having to switch it off because of that but it can make users find navigation uneasy.

I was looking for something similar, I’m sure if you’ll add more feature this could be super great! For example let choose the CLICK area of the new cursor then add in which type of like to enable over mouse icon feature for example only on portfolio or in Images, or TEXT ect … Keep working man!

Leaflet Maps Marker version: 3.10.2
On desktop, in Chrome version 47.0.2526.73 m, I can not drag the map with the mouse cursor. Good in Firefox, and IE.

Seems to work fine on Android, or iPhone also.

A Problem with the Cursor Color and the Fix that Worked for Me

First, it’s a very useful plugin. Thank you for the author.

One frustrating problem I had with it was that the mouse cursor in the editor being shown in black (or darker color) that’s not clear with the background.

In the code I saw it’s using some styling theme named “rubyblue”. I searched on it and found a CSS rule that solved the problem;

.cm-s-rubyblue .CodeMirror-cursor { border-left: 1px solid white !important; }

You have to enter the CSS code using a back-end customization plugin which allows to add custom CSS rules. I used the Admin Tweaks plugin.

AJAX pagination / mouse cursor problem

On “Gallery Settings” > “NextGEN Basic Thumbnails” tab AJAX pagination enabled. It seems it works well.
Problem: when i change the page of any gallery (more then 1 on the same page) mouse cursor being changed as well. The mouse cursor become a “text” instead of usual “hand” on the text links. It is being changed on the same website on gallery page. When i change or refresh gallery page – the mouse cursor become as usual till i change any gallery page one more time.
