With the Duplicator Pro Plugin I am trying to migrate a wordpress site to another installation:
I want to use Advanced File Manager to move 2 files from URL1:https://virksomheder.simplyjob.dk to URL2:https://simplyjob.se/test. The files are:
1) A zip archive
2) a PHP file (called installer.php)
– Ive successfully moved the zip file from URL1 to URL2.
– But I can’t move installer.php – when i try to upload I get error msg “Unable to connect to backend. HTTP error 0” and I cant upload it.

I really don’t know how to solve this.
Help would be much appreciated!!
Thanks

How To Move Your WordPress Core Files Out Of Root
Is supported for WordPress Multisite?
Or is it only supported on single/standalone WordPress Installations?
If yes, is there any issues that could arise with this configuration in terms of plugin /themes etc?
Thanks a bunch!
Settings/General: make them both https://www.mishawakalions.org
and then
Settings/Permalinks: and rechoose and save changes (PostName)
and then
Run ‘Velvet Blue Update Urls‘ plug in to update all the urls?
thanks so much!
Kristi
The files(images, voice, and documents) that need to be moved is used(linked) in the wordpress right now.
Is there any plugin or method that I can do such job automatically or correctly?
(I know there will be links issues, if not correcting the path in the wordpress blogs).
Best regards,
]]>Very new to WordPress, and hoping that someone can help…
My current site is a HTML site with a normal index.html as the home page. I am now building a new site in WordPress and wanted to get some advice on what to do when I launch the new site.
I am currently building my new WordPress site in a folder called: www.mydomain/new.
When I have finished it, do I have to move all of the files from www.mydomain/new to www.mydomain/ (this is where my current HTML files reside), or can I just do some form of re-direct and leave them in the /new folder?
Second part of my question is: if I leave the WordPress in place (/new folder) and use the re-direct option, will this effect my SEO with Google?
Many thanks for any advice,
Donhinio.

]]>When doing a restore at the host server (Godaddy), there is only one file listed to replace. Neither of these new backup files which occur in the _DB_Backup file are automatically placed in the pull down menu in the host restore operation. I have to move them manually with the FTP client. Does anyone know how to handle this new double file issue?

]]>I am working on a new site (site link here), and I realized that the visual editor isn’t working right now. I can only edit in html. When I go to the Visual tab, the text is there, but it is white. When I highlight the area, I can see the text. Also, it is in html code. The edit bar options also disappears. In other words, when I load the page to edit, I see the text and the edit options bar, and then it reverts to the html tab.
I deleted the only plugin I had installed, I updated to 3.05. The only other thing that can be affecting this is that I changed “moved” the site to a new directory. I copied the files from a “files” folder to a “site” folder as per the directions in the WordPress Codex.
I also did some additional troubleshooting I found on the forum, but to no avail. Any clue?
Thanks,
Antonella
