Standard wordpress search and most search-related plugins are capable of searching a page that uses Multipage. It will find the search term, and can identify the section of text in which the search term is found, but if you click on this search result, it will take you to the top of the Page, not to the “sub-page” section within the page. I am only referring to searches made while on the website, not to search engines like Google.
To be sure my question is clear, I’ll give an example. Say you have one WordPress page that uses Multipage and has 20 “subpages” within this page. A search for a term finds a result on this page, and it happens to be within the 16th subpage. But when you click to jump to the result, it will take you to “page 1” at the top. You’ll see the 20 sub-pages listed below, but you have no indication on which of these 20 pages the search result is to be found, so you have to navigate through all 20 pages to find what you’re looking for.
Thank you!

We are using the PRO version of Simple Business Directory but facing a dificulty related to create custom fields, because the plugin just allow to use 5 fields.
Is it possible to create more custom fields. If possible, how to display them in the card and modal or multipage item.
Also i have a question about “multipage itens”. Im my instalation, the individual page por itens is not working. I just added the shortcode pointed in settings admin page, althoug evem with page poublished it doesn work propertly. It just allow to use indiviudal links if the navigation starts from the category page (all categories).
Could you help me? It is very important!
]]>During YASR config, I found that I can place the “stars” either before content or after content. When I set after content, the plugin works just fine but, when there is a multi-page article, the “stars” are place between the article content and the “Next page: x x x” div.
How can I override this so that the stars are placed underneath the page selector?
Regards.

]]>I realized that Multipage 1.4 no longer renders previews correctly – the Table of Contents and sub-pages are missing. Once published, they appear correctly.
Is there something you can do to fix this? Or is it a limitation of the new editor? I’m happy to help provide more info if you need. Thank you!
]]>I do not have documentation, but my impression is that this problem is relatively new (maybe a year old at most) and I am wondering whether there is any workaround?
EXAMPLE: Our article about Rome: https://www.fleamarketinsiders.com/best-flea-markets-in-rome-italy/
On this page, I have deactivated our default variables setting ( post title / separator / page title) and just added the post and page title as text, in the hope that in the end Google will “feel free” to choose the correct sub-title for each subpage of the post. I have also tried to leave it empty, but then Yoast goes back to the default setting and uses the variables mentioned above.
If you type “Via Sannio flea market” in Google (and all other flea markets listed in this article) you will see the problem. The SEO title is the title defined for the main page of the article, only the meta description automatically draws on the correct snippet. However, for some reason, for the sub-page on “Porta Portese flea market”, this problem does not occur. Google features as title Porta Portese Flea Market – Flea Market Insiders. This is the ONLY multipage article with a sub-page that appears in SERP as we want it to (although the article has been recently re-submitted to Google).
Any ideas on what to do? I’d be happy to provide more information to explain the problem!
