Basically, I created it to look like this –
Interests:
[] List A
[] List B
[] List C
There are two (2) issues I’m struggling with:
First,
The list appears on the page as this:
Interests:
[] List C
[] List B
[] List A
[] Other
Why did the list order get reversed and why is ‘other’ included in the list?
Second,
The form was created with MailPoet, where each list element is associated with an existing MP list.
Yet, the user who was signing up for the lists never receives an email.
Double opt-in is required, and user never receives the first email, much less a second.
I found several shortcomings in Email Subscribers which are not good but which I can work around (I may send you a list of these later) but now I have a problem that is really serious.
Scenario:
You would expect that there are now three users:
… but that is not the case! There are indeed three users, but User-B has not been assigned to List-2.
This corresponds with the ES message after the import action: “Total 1 contacts have been imported successfully! 1 contact(s) are already exists.”
Of course this is not a problem for these three contacts, but ES should allow you to use a number of lists with each a few hundred contacts and then it is a serious problem that you cannot import contacts for a list if they are already present in another list.
For me this is a ‘show-stopper’, so I hope you will be able to do something about this.
Thanks in advance for your help!
]]>I would like for when a user fills out my contact form, depending on which checkbox they tick to be then added to the appropriate list. I have been trying to follow instructions on this page https://kb.mc4wp.com/add-group-choice-cf7-forms/ but I’m not having much luck
]]>I totally love this plugin. So much that I don’t want to just use it for events, but also the the list of children’s classes I also publish on my site.
I currently have another tool that displays a grid of custom posts (classes) and can search by keyword and filter by day etc.
I’d like to use Events Manager for classes too but don’t want them appearing on the same list. Think I can get around this using tags e.g. event / class and choose what to display on a page for each.
What I’m struggling with though is the search form. When users search I only want them to search within a tag e.g. class or event – at present it searches all events and returns the results on the main events page.
Is it possible to:
a) Have a form that searches for events with a certain tag only?
b) return results on the same page it is on?
Ideally I’d also like to add custom fields to one of the search forms. I’ve seen some info on this but I wanted to know if you can have two different search forms operating in different ways i.e. with different search criteria?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks
Jen

First of all thank you for this great plugin!
I have a question. I want to create a database with a lot of people and their birthdays. I want to show them on my website by the current date. Is this possible?
So I need to create multiple lists. I hope you can help.
Kind regards,
