Wow, I remember when this first came out a decade ago – it was still a bit unstable then but already making big inroads into paid version.
I’ve used this to manage 100+ sites and it not only streamlines mass management, it frees up a heap of mental space by giving you better dashboards for managing multiple sites.

Elementor Pro for 2 Websites Using Name Cheap

Hi All,

First timer here.

I use Name Cheap and just added a second domain. I use Elementor Pro for the first site but it doesn’t show up for the new site. Only the non-pro version does. I found the PRO version in my plug-ins as it was put in there by the initial designer. I am now doing the Elementor work myself as she disappeared.

32 Sub Site Limit

My client tried to activate the plugin on their production site, after testing on their development site.

After entering the license key and pressing the “Activate License” button, they are displayed the error:

The license is limited to 32 sub-sites. You need to upgrade your license to cover all the sub-sites on your network

So far they have the plugin activated on 3 websites, with 10 users across those sites (see redacted screenshot)

What course of action can I/they take to activate the plugin?

I would really like to have something that adds a post to multiple sites that would be fantastic. I see that it says ”Add more site” in a button at the bottom of the options, however this does not appear to work.

If this plugin could post to many wordpress sites this would be a popular plugin.

Access Database from multiple sites

Many of our volunteer organizations in different countries are now setting up their own WordPress sites but we all need to use the same Participants Database data. Is it possible to have multiple sites looking at the same database?

I’ve looked at the WordPress documentation but that seems to be about sharing the entire database. That’s not for us as these are all independent sites.

I looked at using the API but we really want the entire front end available on the individual sites.

Is there a way to do this directly in Participant’s database? If not, has anyone done this trying to replicate the tables? Worse comes to worst, we’ll use a frame or even just a link. Thanks

Disconnect Domain and Make New Site

Hello,

I am working with a group who would like to run two different websites from one account, with two different domain names. We have one site using a wordpress plan and domain, and another domain we intended to use for a different site.

To set up a new, seperate site I think we should have clicked ‘Add New Site’ in the dashboard, and then set that up with a different domain. However, we have accidentally added the second domain to the first site rather than create a new one for it.

I cannot now create a new site using that domain, as it says it is already mapped to a wordpress site. I have been looking in the ‘domains’ section of the ‘upgrades’ menu on the first site, but am unable to see how to remove the second domain from it.

In case it is relevant, I am using an ‘admin’ account which we all have access to. However, the second domain may have been added by a different account, the ‘site owner’ – I am wondering if this is making a difference to whether I can remove the second domain or not?

Please can you tell me how to disconnect this second (non-primary) domain from the first site, so I can then go and use it for a second, unassociated site.

Multiple Sites Not Syncing

Sir,

I have added 2 Sites. and When I add/update posts with both sites selected then only 1st site post updated/posted. To update the 2nd one i need to manually deselect 1st one then only select 2nd one then it gets sync with 2nd one.

I all and all, I need to do one by one sites to update posts in both sites. Please look into this.

WordPress’ “nothing here”-page instead of RoundCube-setup

Hi there,

I installed WordPress a while back on my Ubuntu server. I am able to use it from my own domain, so it seems to work just fine.

But as I am a complete novice here, I am unable to make both RoundCube and WordPress work on the same domain.

As I installed Postfix, Dovecot, and RoundCube, and went to mail.domain.com/mail, I get the wordpress-error page “Nothing here”.

How do I solve this, so I actually get the roundcube setup page and keep going.
