Problem of mx4 in 2.1

Hello everyone.

I’m using mx4 as my theme and I upgrade to 2.1 today, I found the header menu only have “HOME” left, all the other sections are gone…

Do anyone of you know is it a problem to the theme?

No error msg shown in browser.

Pages Problem – ‘More’ Tag Not Working

I am adding pages to my site and using the MX4 theme for WordPress 2.

When I use the ‘more’ tag its simply not appling it to the page and just continues the text all on the same page.

Redirect a header page to another page

I’m using the new MX4 theme and I would like to have a section of my menu linked to a page out of my weblog.
Example:
I create a page called “forum”. A tag “forum” is then created in the header menu of my home page, leading to the address /www.myweblog.com/weblog/forum/
I would like that by clicking on this menu tag, the user is redirected to another page, out of the blog (my actual forum in this case)

Any idea?

changing header graphic in mx4 theme

I am trying to change the header graphic in the mx4 theme. The only place that I can find reference to change the name of the file is through CSS in the header file. The problem I have been running into is changing it from a regular image to a flash file.

This is the line of code that references the header image:

#header { background: url(“/images/kubrickheader.jpg”) no-repeat bottom center; }

What do I change this to so that it properly displays a .swf file?

Changing width of page in MX4

I need help knowing how to change the width of the inside width of this page – https://www.dcgathering.com/

As you can see I’ve widened the posts on the left and the nav on the right, but I can’t figure out how to widen the yellow and white portions in the middle.

Any suggestions?

MX4 Theme Background-color

I’m using a slightly altered version of the MX4 theme. I’m trying to find the background-color and change it from white to #045A01. I thought I found it on line 18 of the style.css (the body tage and I also changed the #page tag), but it still looks white in Firefox. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

hello there,

I’m using a slightly modified MX4 theme, and I have some concern about the BX_functions.php file.

Now I now this theme uses it, and some other theme by the name of Blix as well. My question is what exactly is the point of all these duplicate functions and are they better than the standard built-in WordPress functions?

I see a few that are named ‘BX_get_pages’ and ‘BX_archive’, etc. What’s the deal?

Also, I noticed there’s alot of cruft within some of the MX4 template files pertaining to the BX functions that I may be able to strip out if I don’t need to use this file.

Can someone shed some light on the situation?
