Recent Update, Conflict and Nag

Our store is in a country with currency not supported by PayPal. I have a currency converter that works beautifully with PayPal for supported currencies, while allowing use to keep our base currency local.
So, the “Your base currency is not supported by Paypal” nag is irrelevant to our setup, and I would like to disable it.
Additionally, Paypal now conflicts with our gateway for local currency payments and causes a 500 error when enabled.

Ok, this is the best and less nagged plugin of its kind.
But why nags? If the usage achieves the point of necessity for a pro version, the option is already made! Or you think that we will have the trouble of migrating all those folders and images to other similar plugin’s folders? Please consider removing all nags for good. An elegant and very discreet “ready for pro version” message, only when trying to use above the free version limits will attract so much developers that value their designs. Just my point of view guys! Thanks for such wonderfully coded plugin!

Site Health w/ Monster Insights

After installation to evaluate this plugin for Google Analytics my Site Health Status tool now indicates:

“ eCommerce data is not being tracked MonsterInsights
You are using WooCommerce but the MonsterInsights eCommerce addon is not active, please Install & Activate it to start tracking eCommerce data.

View Addons”

Explain to me why not having a commercial (or any other) add on simply because I have Woocommerce installed has anything to do with my “Site Health”?

Leveraging a diagnostic monitoring tool to insert this kind of “recommendation” is nothing more than abusing end users with a “nag” advertisement that has nothing to actually do with the “health” of my website.

Useful and necessary

Let me be clear: persistent admin notices are awful UI/UX and a bad practice. Users (the great majority, at least) are not infants, they should be able to choose what to do in their own website dashboard. This plugin gives them the chance to just ignore nags, whatever the reason they have.

“But you need updates…” Do I? Can’t you just say it once?

How to remove notices

Every plugin related page on my site contains a “better robots.txt pro upgrade” and “please give better robots.txt a fie star review” text boxes. These appear even on configuration pages for plugins not related to better robots.txt. I keep clicking on the crosses and they disappear only to reappear next time I open a plugin-related page. This is not only very annoying, but it must be against the accepted behaviours for plugins to advertise on other plugin’s configuration pages. Please tell me how to remove them permanently, and please desist from placing them again!!

Works as advertised. Don’t really need it since Kadence added a tabs block. Among the most intrusive nags of any free plugin I’ve ever tried. It’s like punishment for not getting the “pro” version. I didn’t build this site. I didn’t choose your plugin, and I don’t care that it’s been replaced.

This particular site has 345 users that may see this message, only 7 who have access to plugins, and maybe zero who are going to act on it.

WordPress dashboard is a stage for abusive use of screen estate. The fact that Jetpack, a plugin by the company that confuses itself with WordPress, is leading the way in this abusive use is just wrong, a shame really, and setting the wrong example for all plugin and theme authors.

WordPress urgently needs a way to put this nags where they belong: the plugin/theme specific settings page or some kind of notification center.

Thank you Required for helping to clean up. It is not a definitive solution but it is a welcome panacea.
