error when creating new pages constantly and regularly

We purchased a new hosting plan from Site Ground. Installed www.ads-software.com. Started creating pages. And this feature is blocked. We checked and updated everything completely. The problem persists. Sometimes it allows creating a page, sometimes it blocks immediately. If it allows creating a page, it can take anywhere from 15 seconds to 5 minutes, and later I receive a blocking code like this. If someone has had a similar error and can help fix it, I would be very grateful.

“Thank you for reading this post…” Appearing on ALL Pages

This seems to have started without me changing anything. In WordPress 6.1.1, everytime I make a change to a page or add a new page, this text appears on that page:
“Thank you for reading this post, don’t forget to subscribe!”
It usually appears somewhere between the top and middle of the page. If I use the web inspector, it doesn’t belong to any class so it’s impossible to remove it with CSS.
I’ve unchecked all the boxes in Settings > Discussion and I’ve also deselected Settings > Reading > Posts page so it reads “Posts page: —Select—”
I tried without luck searching the whole WordPress installation for that phrase, but nothing is found.
As I said, I believe this is a relatively new behavior. It happened in WP 6.0.3 and continues in WP 6.1.1.

I’ve disabled all of my plugins to see if there’s a cause there, but the prblem persits.

I’m hoping someone can point me toward a solution.

new woo pages created after update – even though custom pages existed!

After updating woocommerce, I have just found out (on multiple websites using woocommerce) that woocommerce has created new pages for shop, accounts etc, even though there were existing pages. That broke my website, in other languages, the product page does not work anymore!

What made you think it was a good idea to overrule existing pages and create new ones?

On this website, changing it all back in the settings doesnt even fix the problem, so you really messed things up.

How do I fix that?

Hello, is there any way to create page or posts templates to use when creating new pages or posts? I know how to create a page and edit it PageLayer but I can’t figure out how to save it as a new page and not overwrite the template.

Bug?? Responsive 3.16.4 – Page/Post Headings. H1 replaced with H2

I had an issue for weeks with Responsive Heading1, so I found a way to remove it for page and post titles. (CSS override to set H1 as 0em)

Now my site has started adding new Page and Post titles with H2 instead of H1.

Very odd and unexpected behaviour as H2 was set up for a different layout and use as section headers within a page.

My site is getting screwed up.

Only seems to be occurring with new pages being created in the last couple of days after upgrading to Responsive theme 3.16.4 (I’m using a Child theme from the earlier Responsive before all the upgrades began a few weeks ago). Earlier posts seem unaffected, at present.

Created a test page to illustrate for the next few hours before I try to debug it with more CSS overrides.

What is the “normal” workflow in a WordPress site for new pages?

Hi all. I’m a newbie and it’s my first post in the WP forum. Tried to search for this question and couldn’t find an answer. Looking for some insight. I started with wordpress 5 months ago and have finally built a website I’m happy with. I started building it on a localhost. Moved it to a live site with All in one WP migration successfully. I’m not sure of the workflow I should be using so I haven’t updated anything for several weeks since going live. I started my first website over 20 years ago writing simple HTML. Then learned Adobe Golive. That worked well all those years but now with Google pushing HTTPS I felt a new platform (WordPress) was needed. So…whenever I created new pages with Golive, I just copied that new *.html page into the correct folder under htdocs using FTP. It was fast and simple. Now that my whole site is live (about 400MB) I’m not sure how to update it similarly. Do I need to backup from live and restore to localhost make my updates then backup and restore to the live site? I feel too many things can go wrong if I just change a photo or a product or a page or a combination of those? Should I copy my live site to staging, work on it and then copy it back to the live site? Is there a way to just upload a single new page or product in wordpress like I did in Golive? I have tried to move my site by exporting and importing in phpmyadmin and have run into many problems with the import so I turn to plugins for help. But they are only designed to move whole sites or parts of a site like updraft plus. What is a typical workflow for updating new pages or products. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Cannot publish a New Meeting

I recently updated our 12 Step Meeting plugin to 3.33. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but it seems we cannot publish new meetings.

Adding new meetings is not something we usually do so I am not really sure how long this has been going on. But when I go to add a new meeting, I press the publish button and for whatever reason it stays in DRAFT mode. I cannot change it.

For existing meetings, I can make edits and publish those without issue, by pressing the update button. But it does not allow me to publish new meetings that did not exist before.

Any ideas what might be going on? I have administrator rights over the site. What should I look for to determine the issue? Any assistance appreciated!

adding new products to new shop pages

I am trying to add new products that link directly to my cart to new shopping pages I have created but something is missing? I dont have the WP estore cart button option to add pages? I dont know how to get the products to attach only to particular pages.

Cannot create new page title

I have a family history website built with Elementor Pro using the GeneratePress theme. Recently it has exhibited two oddities:
1. In the Dashboard, selecting ‘All Pages’ takes me to the ‘Posts’ page. If I then again select ‘All Pages’ I am taken normally to the list of my pages.
2. When I try to create a new page the Title field is populated with the title of another, existing, page (‘Moxon Wills & Download Links’) and no matter what I try, that name will not be changed. I’ve tried in the Elementor page settings dialogue which briefly accepts the new name then switches back to the ‘Moxon Wills & Download Links’ title. The same happens in the New Page dialogue, and in the WordPress dashboard. Notwithstanding, the content of the new page is intact, so in the ‘All Pages’ list there are multiple instances of the same page title, all with the same name but with unique content. Of course, the rogue name shows up in all the menus, making navigation quite hopeless.

I’ve tried deactivating all my plugins and using a standard WordPress theme (Twenty-seventeen), but the behaviour persists. I have reloaded WordPress from the Dashboard settings. I hope someone can advise.
