Hi UM Admin, amazing plugin you’ve got going on here.

I have an email form on homepage that when you submit, sends the user_email query string via GET to register page ../register/[email protected]

How do I use this GET URL parameters to auto fill the UM Register form

Url= https://example.com/register/[email protected]

UM Form with meta “user_email” auto fills [email protected]

Hi, I would need registered users to be self-approved by default, and then later I can manually disapprove them. How can I enable this condition? Is there any line of code that I can modify to enable this self-approval condition for registration?

Login redirect and Registration

Hi,
I have enabled Login Redirection addon.
When a new member paid for the membership, he clicked the registration link in the email.sent by the SWPM. After registration was completed, the message “Registration is complete. You can now log into the site.” displayed on the same registration page replacing the registration form. Now he clicked the login link and login. The page displayed now was the registration form again.

I understand it is caused by the Login Redirection addon which when enable would return user to a page prior loggin. But for a new member just completed the registration and logins for the first time, the Login Redirection should not take effect.

Other than disabling the addon, is there a way to achieve that?

Can I define default registration group for the new members. I mean group which will be assigned to the users after registration of the new account.

It look like this plugin always create new users because isn’t looking the users_can_register Option value.

We had a register form, that we used to let a member register another person, sometimes he is even a dead person or a very old one that does not have email or internet but we want them to be part of the community, now after upgrading to version 2.0 a member cannot use this form because “he is already registered”

New user can’t access their profile

I’ve created a new User Role, Tester, and set any new user registration will auto approved for this role. New user is auto approved as set but not able to view their own profiles even I’ve already set these:
Edit User Role / General Permissions / Can edit their profile? / Yes
And even set these:
Edit User Role / Profile Access / Can view other member profile? / Yes
Edit User Role / Profile Access / Can view these user profile only? / Tester

Thanks for a great plugin. I just need a little help.

I want to set up a notification for New User Registration BUT I do not find “ACTIVATION LINK” shortcode in the available shortcodes.

I searched the forum before creating this topic and found a topic at “https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/active-user-account-email/”. It has been marked as resolved but the shortcodes referred here do not provide for “Activation Link”.

Ultimate Member New User Registration facing this error message once I add in the default field “Email Address” once I click on “Register”.

If I take out the “Email Address” field, it OK, if I add in Secondary Email Address, it also OK.

Why?

I did tried create a new form, only put in Username, Password & Email Address field. Result is it always repeat the registration form without save.

any things I can check? my UM version is 1.3.78
