I’d like to be able to open external links, such as my social media profiles (facebook, twitter etc) in new tabs but I don’t know how to do that. I read somewhere I need to include the following in my blog’s html: target=”_blank” but where do I find my blog’s html? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, please help with what is a newbie question? I have installed Woocommerce and Wzone lite and trying to set up an Amazon affiliate site with products. I have tried every plugin to get the products to open in a new tab but nothing seems to work? Everything just opens in the same tab and you eventually cant get back to the site due to checkout page.
I am new to this and really could do with any help as its driving me crazy and cant progress with the building of my site.

Hello – my site is somehow set to open a new tab anytime the user clicks on a link (be it a menu label or link in text). I am sure there is a way to disable this (and allow the user to select whether they open their own tab) but I cannot figure it out. Does anyone have a simple solution for me? (I am certain I clicked some button that I now cannot find…)

Customizr Update Links Opening In new tabs

Hi,

I updated the Customizr Theme today, and after the update all my links are now opening in new tabs when they were opening on the same page before. I have double checked to make sure the links are set to open in the same window. This is not convenient for my users.

Does anyone know how to fix this/what could have caused this in the first place?

I’m running the Rayleigh theme. Quick question. There are social media links on our About page that work just fine, but I’d like them to open in a new tab. I’m having trouble tracking down exactly where to enter target=”_blank” in the theme editor to get the icons to operate how I want.

Open sharing buttons in a new window (not tab)

Just what I installed and does not work as it should.
I activated the buttons to share on Facebook, Twitter, Google +, and email. Clicking on them opens a new tab. I want to open a new small window.
If I turn the display of official buttons then it works correctly.
I hope your help, I know I do.

I need to make it so my Catagorie links open in a new tab so people are not directed off a page with live video and chat i do not want to have to give a lesson on page on right clicking to open link in new tab

I have seen people talking about it is bad manners this is not about manners it is about functionality i would like people to be able to stay on chat/stream page without loosing stream or chat

Links not opening properly

My website is not new. www.darkbluewaters.com As of yesterday when I click on any link, it does open in a new tab but it also opens on the same tab as my website. (So the new website is now open on two tabs).

The code has not changed: target=”_blank”

I also tried switching templates between the free one I am using for this site and a premium one to see if there was problem with the template.
