I’d just like some clarity on this, please.
I’ve published a website from one of my localhosts installs.
I want to start a second website, but don’t want to use the multisite function.
Do I need to install Bitnami WordPress again to make a new website, and/or make a new WordPress account (or should I go down the line of XAMPP).
Thanks,
Thomas
I have been researching for a while but not quite figured out the best way to do this in my situation. I thought it shouldn’t be too difficult!
I have a clients wordpess website in which they want a total revamp including new content and theme. While I am setting up the new site they need to be able to access it and with no downtime on their current site.
I thought maybe the best way to do this would be to set up a subdomain with new database and work from there until finalised. But then I am a little confused on how to switch it over to be live. The current site is in the root domain. Will I need to delete the current site files once the new site is ready and just follow steps that are in “setting up site from new directory”?
Thanks for your help!
After many hours of coding, cups of coffee and frustrations the new website of Appromoters is launching today! Please take a look at the website [link removed] and let me know what you think of it
Thanks

A friend has an existing WordPress blog and I’m creating a new WP website for him. How can i add this in the Blog page of the new Site??
]]>When I use my work network to access the new website, it does not work. I can only access https://mycurrentworkplacedomain.net. However, the new website https://mycurrentworkplacedomain.net/newwebsite is accessible outside my work network or when am browsing from home.
I am having 2 incidences of this problem with 2 different clients.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
]]>Have a look and get back to me :-)PLEASE!!!!!
]]>I have a website running on a host. I want to build a new website with WordPress on this host using my current domain name. I have looked and looked…however I can’t find if it is possible to first build a new website before it goes online meanwhile still keeping my old website up and running untill my new site is all ready to go.
Is there a possibility for both my old site to run and meanwhile build a new one with WordPress? Without my site being ‘under construction’?
Is there a possibility to try out some Themes and ideas on my computer before the go online?
Thanks!!
