When in full screen at the bottom of the blog page you see the older post link. That link works and goes to /page/2 as it should. Heres the rub. When you shrink it down to phone size the link stops working. You still see the Older Posts but you can not click on it. On a phone nor on the desktop You cant navigate to an older or newer blog post page.

the text that shows up to navigate to older posts and newer posts, I want to change that text to some other labels.

I see where that is called on content.php and searched thru css to see if there is a label for before and after there but can’t find it.

I was wondering if there’s a way I can change the older / newer posts text on the archive, search pages etc.
Is it somewhere in the theme’s code where I can just change it to what I want? Or is it actually in the wordpress base code?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve linked to a page with the example.

I added the chronological plugin to change the order of my posts as it reads like a story in time order. I need to now change the wording in the buttons at the bottom of each post and category pages: so that ones that currently read Newer Posts switch to older and vice versa.

Ideally I’d like to replace the text altogether with images. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m using Oriental Writing since a few days ago, and yesterday I just noticed that “Older Posts” and “Newer Posts” not showing up on Index and Categories.

But the “Next Post” and “Previous Post” on Post is showing up correctly.

I checked this and that.

At first, I try to increase the font size on style.css into 2.6em, but it looks like not the correct approach.

I looked at the Source Code of HTML and found ot that the “Older Posts” and “Newer Posts” is there, but not showing up on human eyes.

After trial and error (I’m not a good programmer for sure), I manage to make those showing up by adding height: 50px on the style.css

#content .nav-previous { float: left; height: 50px; width: 50%; }
#content .nav-next { float: right; text-align: right; height: 50px; width: 50%; }

Maybe this is not the best solution, but at least at this moment the “Older Posts” and “Newer Posts” is showing up.

Waiting for better solution for sure.
