I’m planning to send newsletters to users via MailPoet. I want users to sign up for these, and want the info to be in the user’s WordPress user record.
I have MailPoet set up with 4 different types of newsletters, which users can choose on the registration form. However, these choices are not recorded in the user’s profile, and the user cannot change their choices.
I see that ProfileGrid offers “groups.”
Can I send a newsletter to only the users in a specific group? If so, would it be possible/better to set up 4 groups, instead, let users sign up for those, then send newsletters according to the groups they join?
And if that’s possible, could someone provide some steps to do this?
Thanks for your help!

]]>I am running a wordpress site (www.theethicalentrepreneur.com) which has Jetpack installed. When blog posts are published, subscribers receive an email containing the latest blog. Unfortunately, these emails have started displaying a single line of code from the page “[uncode_info_box separator=”pipe”]” which I believe relates to the separator used between categories on the blog article.
An example would be “https://www.theethicalentrepreneur.com/buying-high-and-selling-low/” where the separator is displayed between the date, categories, and author.
I am uncertain what is causing this to occur as the emails do not display any other formatting code on the page. Is there any way to prevent this from occurring?
Many thanks for your help!
]]>Ultimately as a user this is what is a dealbreaker for me if I don’t find a workaround, hence for a lot of other users.
The most popular mailing services on wordpress has already implemented this. I think however, your plugin is by far the most user-friendly and clutterfree, hence you also would be caring to implement more functionality, but I think this is key for most e-mail marketing integrated on wordpress.
Hopefully you will add this soon, in the meantime, can I make a workaround with by adding some code to a webhook etc. ?
It would be a tremendous help.
]]>I recently started a thread as below and I want to reopen it as my newsletters have disappeared again. I am concerned that there is an update (either Mailpoet or otherwise) that is losing the newsletters.
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/newsletters-have-disappeared/#post-16629047
When I come to view my newsletters there is only one available along with a welcome email which were set up years ago.
I’m not sure why these remain after the rest of the newsletters have been deleted but there should be at least another 4 newsletters that have been produced in the last 12 months that should show as well.
Do you have any suggestions as to how this old database is replacing the newer one? Is it an MP update doing this? Why is MP picking up an old newsletters data table?
In the meantime I am restoring the newsletters as previously mentioned from an Updraft Plus backup from September 2022 although this is not ideal and I would really like a resolution to this issue

]]>Please can you tell me how to retrieve these?
I have purged the cache as suggested in your help articles, logged out and back in but they still do not show.
I hope I can get these back as they were all pre-prepared for an email campaign that is to start soon.
Many thanks for your help.
