Image Sorting Issue NextGEN Gallery

Hi There,

I have a question regardin the order in which images are shown on the page, using the NextGEN Gallery plugin – I am uploading them in a particular order, but the page is not keeping that order, images are currently being sorted via Image ID, I have tried sorting by Filename as I do rename the images, but this is not working, I need the images to stay in the order that I upload them in.

NextGen Gallery plugin won't update

I have tried again and again but no success.
The plugin (Version 2.0.66.27) keep coming up with this error page:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

Also I have downloaded the updated version of NGG to my computer but I am afraid that if I deactivate the current version and install the new one that I will have lost all my current galleries and have to redo them. Am I right about this?

NextGEN Gallery plugin stops slideshow of Swiftray theme

Hi there,

I have been using NextGEN Gallery for some time and like it very much. But when they updated their plugin to version 2.0.66.16 it interfered with the slideshow that is part of the Swiftray theme, which I am using in my website gemofchina.org. I would have gone back to their old version, but that did not work any more either (I could not insert new galleries into posts any more).
My friend now deactivated the NextGEN plugin for the slideshow to work properly and suggested that I look for another gallery plugin. But since it’s one of the most popular WordPress plugins I figured there must be a solution around.

I would very much appreciate if someone could help me.

Our Home page isn't showing up (Max Magazine Theme)

Our home page stopped showing up on our site https://badgersenate.com/ about a week ago. All the posts and pages appear fine but the home page is not showing any of the sliders, images, etc.

I was told that this problem would work its self out but it has been a week. Something must be wrong.

Sunspot & NextCellent Gallery Column problem

I use the NextCellent Gallery plugin. But when adding a gallery to page, the galleries are only show in 1 column. I tried different settings (3 columns etc) in NextCellent Gallery but nothing works.

Any idea?

How to customize the nextgen gallery album thumbnails?

Nextgen gallery as nice as it works has a customized setting for thumbnails in galleries. However, for albums it seems it has only one default setting and thumbnails turn to be not bigger than ~ 120x80px.

I use the gallery option setting and under album setting it has a setting for album thumbnails, but it doesn’t affect my albums. Either there is no effective setting for this or I can’t figure it out.

If you know there is a customization for this, will you share here please.

Nextgen Gallery – text showing instead of thumbnails

I updated nextgen gallery plugin to version 2.0.0. The update failed and removed the plugin. All galleries were gone. I then did a new install of plugin Nextgen gallery ver 2.0.0. All of my galleries came back up in the admin panel but when viewing the gallery pages instead of the thumbnails showing, is text showing.

I don’t know CSS styles.

Are there settings that perhaps I don’t have correct. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I want to get change the color and font of the purple ‘album name’ text but not sure where it is in the code. I also would like to get ride of the box that goes around each album and make it so there are two columns of albums.
