I installed a fresh run of the latest release of WP 3.3.2 for a friend on her networksolutions.com hosted site. I uploaded via FTP, went through the install and all seemed to work fine. That is, until I logged in. Once logged into the WP admin dashboard page – The left sidebar does not show any of the options that it normally does in my own dashboard. There are no pages drop down, no theme options, no plugins or widget drop downs. I can not even upload or install a theme. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the entire wordpress package multiple times to no avail.
Not sure, if there is code that is incorrect in any of the directories, but any help would be appreciated. Here is a link to what the dashboard I am having trouble with looks like: https://i712.photobucket.com/albums/ww121/JennyV_1185/Picture5.png
The website is vanessasartofbeauty.com
Here is a link of what I am assuming dashboard should look like:https://i712.photobucket.com/albums/ww121/JennyV_1185/Picture6.png
Any help would make my life complete This site has been the bain of my existence for the last 3 days and I’m at my wits end….Even if I am doing the silliest thing and I am completely dense and missing something, I’d just like to know
Again, thank you for your patience with me and your help!
Take Care,
Jen
I can’t find a solution for this anywhere else so I’m hoping you guys may be able help me!
I’m trying to create a frontpage for my website with no menu bar on the front page, using images as navigation. The question could just as easily be: Can I get rid of the menu bar on just a single page?
I use Thesis 1.6 right now, but for this I expect to have to go into the core files (with Thesis it’s simple to get rid of sidebars, footer etc. but there’s no option for getting rid of the menu)
I do have avarage understanding of html, css and php.
Does anyone now how to do this?
Thanks in advance!
Karo
