Missing robots tag across the site

Hello,

Greetings of the day!

I have been facing an issue after updating the Yoast SEO plugin to latest version 5.4.2.
The issue is:

There used to be across the pages as defined in the setting of the plugin from Title & Metas section. Now that tag is no longer showing up at the front end on any of the pages.

Even tried the same by enabling FourtyFifteen theme of wordpress, but no luck

I am also suspecting that it could be the reason for which Google is not indexing my site on a frequent interval as before

Please help me out.

Cannot find the file I need to edit on Filezilla to enable crawling

I am a new WP user. I want to change the file on the site from
to exchange "noodp" for "all". This I think will allow the site to be crawled. If this is wrong please advise. I cannot find this file on Filezilla. I have done a full search on Public_html and it came up with nothing. I have searched the web but cant really find anything that helps. I got onto a site by http//mach1webdesign.com who had a site with what I needed but the files he ended up with where not the same as mine. So I am lost. Please help or advise. I am new as you can see, Is there anyone in the Johannesburg area you can put me onto.

Updated Yoast adds noodp/NOINDEX to home and pages

Updated to the latest Yoast on vivogroup.net and it seems that now the pages are not indexed with in the source code. I have changed the settings for the individual pages but no luck.

A new website I recently launched has the same meta as above and is Google search console keeps giving me an error.

Anyone else notice this problem?

After update just see that “noodp” meta is added to site, even if this option is unchecked in “other” settings.

noodp meta robots tag not working correctly

I have enabled noodp meta robots tag sitewide in the plugin as well as noydir meta robots tag sitewide, but from time to time Google shows what is in DMOZ anyway for my site, which is a real problem. Is there a bu somewhere as to why this does not work consistently? Cheers. Marc
