I do have a very similar problem as user paytonstray: After having performed the latest NGG update this morning (which was done in relation with the well known present php problems), there is now a message of my Dashboard which says: “Please install & activate NextGEN Gallery to allow NextGEN Pro to work.”. However, the NextGEN Gallery shows as being activated in the plugin list of the Dashboard. When I deactivate the plugin there is no error message and it correctly shows the plugin as deactivated. However when trying to reactivate the plugin I also (like user paytonstray) get the message that I am not allowed to access this page (whatever is meant by that). When navigating back to the plugin page it does however show as being activated again, but the message on top op the Dashboard is still there and in the dashboard the “Gallery” button has disappaered completely so as I would not have the plugin at all meaning that I am unable to access any of the Gallery submenus, features, settings etc.
Question: Was this done on purpose in the last NGG update for users who still use PHP 7.1.12 ? For your info, I have not been upgraded to PHP 2.2. yet.
FYI: When checking with FTP the plugin is well on it’s correct place…..

I was unable to upgrade automatically from WordPress so i had to deactivate and delete the plugin. I have uploaded it via FTP and tried installing it via WP, both with the same results. I cannot activate it due to this error.

I am unprotected and this site for whatever reason gets a lot of traffic of people trying to hack into it. Nothing to see here, nothing to steal.

Of course my settings are not going to work as they were from an earlier version when I can get it working.

I would appreciate assistance!

Webcomic – multiple webcomics on site, error message 'webcomic not installed"

Hi,
I’m trying to set up a portfolio site that is part webcomic (on one part of the site) and part static images/galleries (on the other part of the site).

I would like to have a ‘homepage’ for the webcomic that I can link to from the front page of the website. I would like the webcomic ‘homepage’ to be the most recent webcomic.

I have tried following the advice on the site (e.g. https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/best-way-to-configure-webcomic-for-multiple-comics-under-one-install?replies=2) but when I try to select the Template: Webcomics Homepage from the dropdown, I get the following error message:
‘It looks like Webcomic is not installed or activated. This template will not affect the appearance of this page.’

I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin, and tried changing the version number (as per this advice: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/webcomic-archive-template-not-working?replies=12_) to no avail.

My less desirable alternative is to link to the archives page, but it doesn’t really look as nice.

IG free shorcodes deactivated

Hi there!

Thank you for your plugin. It has helped me a lot in order to easy build a responsive wordpress web.

All had been working ok until I updated the plugin to its 1.0.7 version.

After updating, the “IG free shortcodes” plugin had disappeared from the plugin list and I get the message “You have not activated “IG Free Shortcodes” plugin. Please activate it before using PageBuilder.” when I try to edit any wordpress page.

Also the wordpress frontend is now showing IG PageBuilder shortcodes instead of the corresponding images and text. You can check it by yourselves: https://anemdenoces.net

Any help will be appreciated.
