Facebook not seeing my posts anymore when i share

When I share my posts to facebook by directly posting link to my wall FB is not seeing the image from my page anymore. Also it will “see” the title of page and first line of my post in the description box but when I post to the wall that all goes away and it will just show my sites name.

I did absolutely nothing to the site except for doing the 4.2.1 update along w/plugins and theme that were updated to match the WP update when this all started. I have tried turning plugins on and off, reloading the update, deleting plugins and reloading them etc nothing has corrected the problem.

I don’t know what to do and let me be clear I am not a programmer/developer so please by kind. I know it is offensive for me to post here but I have NO ONE to help me and have no money to afford a developer

Publicize not auto-posting to social networks

Hi, I have been recently experiencing problems with Jetpack’s Publicize feature, especially for posts that are not directly posted from the website, for example, If I post a article via the official WordPress app on Android, it would not share the post to my connected and shared social networks, not even my favorited Twitter posts get shared anymore (via IFTTT)

Is there anything I can do about this?

Buttons not sharing for pages

I added the share buttons to a page, and I tested them to see if it would share the page. When I tried Facebook, it linked to my Facebook perfectly, but it said “WordPress-Error” in the post for the link. I tried Google+ too and it didn’t seem to be posting anything. Does anyone know why this would be happening?

Publicize connected but not sharing

Hi,

I’ve done a search but haven’t found an answer.

My site is self-hosted. I connected my social media through Jetpack’s Publicize. Everything is connected.

I published a post. Nothing posted to the connected social media.

When I clicked on Edit under Publicize, it showed me my linked accounts, with empty checkboxes. I could not click on the checkboxes (no check marks appeared).

I tried clicking on the Contact Form link offered by Jeremy Herve, but there was no means of contacting anybody. It was just a search box and I found the same info on how to set up Publicize (did that already) but not how to get it to work.

Facebook share not showing Featured Image

For about a month, off and on, I have had trouble getting the Featured Image to post to Facebook when sharing. Sometimes it works, others not. There have been times when renaming the permalink to the post and then re-sharing fixes it, others not. Again, very random. I am not a coder, at all, so this is beyond frustrating to me. I have spent several hours tonight searching similar problems and suggested fixes on the forums, including the Facebook debugger – but nothing seems to be a solid fix. I’ve even gone back and tried to reshare some old posts that I know worked originally – and again, a few did and few did not work upon the retry. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Video posts not sharing over to Facebook

I have been looking endlessly for a solution as to why only Youtube vids will share from my WP to FB fanpage that are playable in Facebook. Videos from any other source will not work and only share over to FB as a link.

Is there anyone who can advise as to what is wrong and how to correct this?
