Saving photos

My team is using photos from their device that have Chinese file names. When we use these names to upload the media and save in the WordPress editor, we get the response “Updating Failed. The Response is Not a Valid JSON Response”.

This comes from different machines using different browsers. I have turned off all plugins and resaved the permalinks, I’ve tried pretty much everything that has been instructed from other websites that try and fix this issue.

The only current workaround is to save the files with an English name which works fine, however, the media that is already saved still gives issues when trying to edit a page with previously uploaded photos.

I had this problem and it took some time, but eventually, I figured out what was causing it (in my case). As a premise, I did literally everything to fix this, from updating (everything plugins, php, WordPress, etc), disabling plugins, changing themes, resetting permalinks, etc. with no results. I contacted server support, and their response was super simple: nothing wrong on their side, but if I pay a premium support service, they can fix it. At some point, I’ve been hit by malware, I contact server support asking about what kind of security they provide, and they gave me the same answer. I decided to run a scan. The php.ini in the root, in the folders wp-admin and wp-includes, have been changed. I fix them manually and I resolved the problem. I couldn’t find any documentation about the relationship between malware and The response is not a valid JSON response.

This is what I found:

Hi,
We have deleted an admin account which I suspect was coupled with the notifications in iThemes.
However, we can’t now change anything under the notifications tab because we keep getting the error:

The response is not a valid JSON response.

I suspect this is related to the missing admin account. I keep getting email errors with “Missing To Header” from my website.

I’ve just tried deleting the plugin and adding it, but after the setup (before finish) it now says:

The response is not a valid JSON response.

I am getting the same error as others. I signed up for the 1-1000 plan and when I installed the activation key, I got the error in the topic title. I deleted and reinstalled. Did not work. I created a new account for same website and the plan says pending for the last week, so that’s stuck as well. I do like this plugin but I can no longer use it unless someone can help with an activation code that works.

Import Setting json file not valid??

Hello Guys,

i have now all ready from my testing page setting listings etc. are working well. I have downloaded all the CSV Fildes for category and places besides thet the settings file (json). I installed the Geodirectory plug in on my live site and wnat to import. NOT WORKING!

First i tried the settings json file, after i uploaded the file the system sold me that the file is invalid… Really? What can i try to make it valid?

Then i try to import the Category’s, which was commented by the system with “siccesful”, but the categorys are empty, so nothing there… NOT WORKING either.

After that i tried the places csv file, after the upload and the importprocess the system told me all entry existing already, really? No entrys in the directory… NOT WORKING either…

So what can i do to bring ma weeks of worl from the test invoronment into my live page??

Hello! Thanks for your support.
In the recent days, most of my pages lost indexation on google.
In GSC, they started marking as not valid amp page with this error: An AMP component ‘script’ tag is present, but unused.
Ive tried uninstalling and installing AMP for WP, re-designin it and un uninstalling plugins. It seems to work on some pages but not in other ones. Any recommendation about what can I do?
