Feature Request – Font Size Option for Notepad

Thanks for sharing this excellent plugin! It’s a great replacement for the unsupported Dashboard Notepad plugin. I have installed this on a few sites geared to seniors and created a custom function & admin stylesheet to increase the font size for the Notepad widget – so they can read the text. Not a biggie – but it would be REALLY nice to have a font-size option on the User Notes tab in the plugin settings!

Again – nice work on this gem of a plugin!

Notes plugin for students

Hello good afternoon. I am setting up the web with wordpress from an online opposition academy. I have a plugin of roles to have roles of students and teachers, but my boss asks me something specific, I don’t know if there is any plugin that does the following functions:

1) First he wants a place where each student can leave notes, that only the student can see. It would be like having a private notepad for each student. The ideal is that I could write directly from the front end, since I have disabled that they can go to the wordpress desktop.

2) And another plugin that you would need, would be a private calendar for each student, so you can write down important dates.

I greatly appreciate the help !, I have only found calendars but public for everyone, and that is not worth me

Rich Text Editor has stopped working

Hello. I have made a couple of threads with the rich text editor and it was working fine for the past couple of days. However, after customizing the forum and purchasing the “embeded” plugin, I noticed that my rich text editor has been replaced with a horrible text editor that’s worse than notepad. Do you have any sugguestions on how to fix this issue?

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for since my old one is no longer being supported. Thank you for this. It’s simple.
Many URLs I need to constantly repeat. I keep them handy on this dashboard notepad for quick reference.

will velvet blues work with old html (non wordpress) pages

A new web developer has created a new wordpress site for an old client of mine. The old site is all html pages created with dreamweaver. If she uses velvet blues on the new web site, can she input all the old url’s to redirect to her new WP pages? The site is currently ranked high and we don’t want him to lose his rankings.

If this will not work, do I need to just enter a redirect script on all the pages?

when open pages in notepad++ they go on forever to the right, I am sure there is a setting so that the lines will wrap after a shorter distance but don’t know what it is. How to do that?

(I can actually make the page the full width of 2 monitors)

I am new to the world of wordpress and web programming in general. I have had a lot of experience as systems manager and worked with SQL server and customizing MS Office Products. I am about 2 weeks into learning about wordpress and starting to customise themes. My question is I find using the editor in WordPress difficult when switching between files. If I bypass the editor and open the files in Notepad++ (which I have just downloaded) would changes I make to the files be effective in the website once they are saved and does having the files open in Notepad++ cause any problem.

I realise I could just try it but I am trying to get moving asap

Copying from Notepad Giving

This is a very odd issue that I have never seen before! It’s effecting one of my staff in the US.

Basically, when she was copying her articles straight from Word, it was sometimes pulling in the font from the Word document. So naturally I told her to copy into Notepad and copy and paste from there, as this usually “cleans” the text.

Doing this gets rid of the font, but the spacing is all screwed up and a look at the “Text” tab shows that an absolute ton of “

” tags have been inserted.

Any ideas?

Hi Guys, I need ur help.
I am a newbie,actually I just have no idea about these stuffs but I need to learn anyway.

I was about to make image slider and put it in my homepage.
I have done step number 2 (editor–> header.php)but I couldn’t proceed bcause I just have no idea with the step number 3.
