Obfuscating email address in Cookie Notice

Hi, I’m in the process of making email addresses on a website unreadable to robots to reduce spam.

There are many resources that will help on the web that will do this by obfuscating email addresses or phone numbers. My problem is that I can’t edit the email address html of the Cookie Notice (implemented using a shortcode from Complianz).

Is there any way to edit the plugin wizard generated cookie notice page so I can implement obfuscation to the email address on that page please?

Does renaming login work?

Hi,
I use login renaming, but about once or twice a month I get a email notice that a user was locked out for trying to log in with bad user name.

If renaming works and I don’t have user creation on why and how are people still finding the login page?

Only Admin should know where to log in.

As we know, hacker’s #1 place to get email & phone numbers to send spam is from websites.

How do we obfuscate the phone number field in Customizing / Header / Main header / Elements / Contact Info?

Doesn’t seem to let us use short codes, like using phpenkoder to obfuscate. Would be smart to automatically obfuscate for us.

I know there is a function to obfuscate an email in terms & conditions pages of complianz, but this is a not useful function for us. Is there a way to reverse this function and print our email in the right way?

Obfusque menu doesn’t work with Elementor ?

I have a problem when I try to abfuscate Menu Links.
(I use Elementor, maybe it beacause of that)
In ‘Appearance => Menu’, when I choose “Obfuscate menu” on the ‘Ghostlink’ drop-down menu, I can’t anymore click on this menu on my website.

I have two Dropdown Menu “Ghostlink” for each Menu section, I don’t know why not just one. I try to choose ‘Obfuscate menu’ on each one or just one but it do the same.

We’re using the CryptX plugin to obfuscate emails, but it doesn’t work in the tables. How can we allow CryptX to work within a table?

Hi, thanks for the plugin.

I tried to obfuscate emails, but nothing happens. Also tried the obfuscate function outside the plugin, but everytime I use it, it just displays the same text. So no sensitive information is hidden…

I am really confused and haven’t found any explanation or examples with a documentation.

What should the obfuscate option do? How should the outcome look?

My code in the CF7:
