Ocean Mist modification

I’ve been using the free Ocean Mist theme for a couple of years now on my site Spatial Scrawl and I’m now looking to draw more attention to my sub-pages (not just the homepage). I’m looking for the best way to do this – as you can see with this theme, the tabs are very small.

If I wanted to increase them or customize this area, how difficult would this be? I’m not that proficient with CSS but could get others involved.

If that’s more trouble than it’s worth, perhaps a “floating menu” to highlight my sub-pages instead of hoping someone notices the tiny sub-page tabs that my theme uses by default.

Suggestions are appreciated, thanks

New page tab has unwanted hyperlink/underscore attached

I’ve noticed that after adding a new page, an unwanted link gets attached to the tab (I’m using the Ocean Mist theme). You’ll notice the “Maps!” tab on my site has an underscore that proceeds it that links to a random unestablished page on my site. There is no space or underscore when I created the new page tab. The main link works fine but I’m trying to get rid of the annoying little underscore.

I think it has something to do with the fact that I’m linking to an external site (another instance of WordPress that I set up). I have another tab that created with no problems, but that’s an internal link.

My site is spatialscrawl.com and the Maps tab is linking to spatialscrawl.com/maps/

I created this link by adding a new page and entering HTML link code as the title and leaving the rest blank (as recommended by others to accomplish this)

Any help is appreciated

Ocean Mist full-sized pictures problem

Hi all.
I have a problem.
I picked up the theme for my site, but it apparently does not support right to work with galleries, particularly with increasing image by pressing (AJAX ?). There are 5 Engine for full-sized pictures: Highslide, Shadowbox, Fancybox, Thickbox, Lightbox, Slimbox 2 but they do not work. Theme – Ocean Mist 2.0 https://www.tenbytwenty.com/ocean-mist.php
Moreover, no gallery which supports an increaseing images does not work.
How can I add support for full-sized pictures (on other themes all works fine) ?

Changing Title Font in Ocean Mist

I’m trying to change the Font of the Title on Ocean Mist theme. Any idea of how to do it? I’ve tried changing the H1 tag and thought I’d changed the Title tag but nothing.

Hello, I used Ocean Mist, a very beautiful template. The text editor for new posts is very limited: I cannot change font size or font color for instance. In some other themes that I also use, I have a better text editor.

Anyway I can change the text editor?

Can I add a click-through logo to the header?

I would like to add a click-through logo to the GRAY header bar at the top…preferably to the far right side. Is this possible? I am using the Ocean Mist theme and my site is https://hikingdenver.net.previewdns.com/

The header editor also includes the image below it and I don’t know code so what can I give you in order to help me accomplish this?? FYI…it took me 3 hours just to replace the default image so please…spell it out for me.

Change the main image in Ocean Mist?

I am using the Ocean Mist theme. I would like to change the main image. I found mention of a “mainpic.jpg” in the Header editor so I renamed my image to “mainpic.jpg” and I think I uploaded it to wp-admin/images using filezilla ( I stress I think b/c I’m a newbie). Guess that didn’t work…any suggestions please?
