Wrong Breadcrumbs and OG meta

After WP 5.7 update and the newest yoast, it seems, that the breadcrumbs and OG description and title are pulling wrong information.

For example, the single products page is pulling a random word from the site instead of the product name (Home > Someword) instead of (Home > Product Title)

The OG description is being pulled from a different custom post type too. Happens only in WP 5.7. Downgraded to 5.6.2 and the problem fixed itself so it’s definitely related to WP 5.7 and yoast not being compatible.

After update to v14.0.2 all my SEO TITLE removed.
I try to save new title but it does not work.

Version 14.0.1 Breaks Featured Image When Posting to Facebook

Version 14.0.1 breaks the featured image when a post shared to Facebook. It does not show the featured image saved on the WordPress post but sends the fist image in the post, which is diferent to the featured image. When checking this issue on the Facebook Debugger the following error message is observed:

Provided og:image URL, https://xxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/shutterstock_xxx.jpg could not be processed as an image because it has an invalid content type.

To resolve this issue Version 14.0.1 has been removed and replaced by Version 13.5. Sharing to Facebook now works properly again by using the featured image embeeded in the post.

When is this issue going to be resolved?

og:title & description not working

I am finding that the og:title and og:description are not showing in Facebook correctly. I just ran the Facebook object debugger and it shows the correct title and description, yet the Sharing Debugger shows the title and description as different and incorrect.

URL is https://feastthailand.com/eat-like-a-local/ though it is the same on pretty much all pages, whereby it just puts the page title and not sitename and the description is always the same, just our advertising slogan.

I am using Cornerstone. I looked to see if it is generating any og information, but could not spot any.

Any suggestions?

When copy/pasting my url into a facebook post, the og:description is not shown correctly. Please check the screenshot of the Facebook Object Debugger:

Besides the og:description the correct description is well shown, namely: “Welcome to te photo page of Paul Hilbert” (as entered in the All in one SEO plugin). However, by looking below it says “Phototravel Events” which are simply two words shown on the home page.

In the Facebook sharing debugger the og: description is however also shown incorreclty as “Phototravel Events”.

Can anybody please assist ?

Hey,

I’ve set all the meta tags following, step by step, the ‘all-in-one SEO’ doc.
When I look into the head tag with the inspector tool, the description is set as I wish.

But when I go to the Open Graph Debugger, the description is not what I’ve set. OG Debug takes the first words it find on the page.

Plugin general bug or did I missed something?

Share code in og:description

Hi Barry,

With the last upgrade of WP it seems your plugin adds the share code into the og:description. In other words, my excerpts look something like:

FacebookTwitterEmailPrintThere is a good kind of waiting which trusts the agents of fermentation.

When I disable the Extras plugin, it works as normal, but I really appreciate being able to keep my share buttons at the top of my posts.

Deactivated and deleted Facebook Thumb Fixer plug-in but still get error message

I tried the Facebook Thumb Fixer plug-in and it wasn’t working so I deactivated and deleted it.

From the Facebook, I now get the following error message when I post a link to my WordPress blog:

‘Call to undefined function has_post_thumbnail() in /home/gratituderocks/gratituderocks.org/wp-content/plugins/facebook-thumb-fixer/_facebook-thumb-fixer.php on line 139’

I get the same error from the Open Graph Object Debugger under og:description.

I have re-installed, deactivated, and deleted this plug-in repeatedly. I also FTP’d to the directory and no directory existed any more for that plug-in.

How do I fix this problem (at least so the error does not appear any more)?

[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Meta Tags Issue

Hi,
i am using Yoast WordPress SEO plugin v1.2.7 for my website https://www.couponsriver.in

In each and every page source i am finding Two Titles and Two Descriptions. One is normal title and meta description and another one is meta property=‘og:title’ and meta property=‘og:description’.

Now my question is..what is this ‘og:title’ and ‘og:description’…why it is displaying twice. is it necessary…? or else let me know how to remove or resolve this issue..

I would appreciate your help in this regard.
