I would like to ask what is the source for the content in the og:description tag? On many pages elementor css is filled in into the description. What is strange is that it does not happen on all the pages, note the difference between the og:description on the following two pages:
(Okay generating – no elementor markup in og:description):
https://startupkitchen.community/event/truesday5-12-2023/
(Not okay generating – elementor markup):
https://startupkitchen.community/event/truesdays6-2-2024/
I am having trouble pinpointing the cause – can I set this manually somehow? Sometimes it seems to take the content from the page text as og:description, sometimes not, I am quite confused.
Steps to reproduce seems to be having elementor installed and this plugin installed.
You’ll note that my site wide og:image is added by the All-Meta-Tags plugin as the code below. This doesn’t allow me to set an og:image for a specific page. Maybe this plugin is overriding the image I’m setting in Yoast SEO for this page?
<!– [BEGIN] Metadata added via All-Meta-Tags plugin by Space X-Chimp ( https://www.spacexchimp.com ) –>

Here’s one article of example:

If you view source the home page, you can find this string. I tried disabling all the plugins one by one and It got disappeared when I disabled the woocommerce! I tried using the String Locator plugin and I looked up “og:desc” and it gave me two strings from Yoast SEO but when I disable Yoast SEO, the main meta description tag disappears and the excessive one remains!!! I contacted the theme author and they came up with no resolution. I would be grateful if someone could help me finding this string’s source. Best,
I am not able to see title, description and image when sharing my website’s link on Facebook and Slack.
Tried with Facebook debug tool which returns an error of missing properties: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id
Despite the fact that I can see in html code all the og:elements.
I do not understand why the og:elements are not showing and I don’t know where to look at.
Yoast Version 12.7.1 (already tried by updating the plugin, but there is nos change)
<meta property=”og:description” content=”[vc_column_text el_class="description ali”/>
<meta property=”twitter:description” content=”[vc_column_text el_class="description ali”/>
or empty at all.
Help me to fix this issue.
