I have one website where I need to keep original dates posted, since they are political cartoons. However, there are a couple of evergreen posts where I was ranking very highly, but have lost that since the page shows as 8 years old in search, even using Last Modified plugin!

Is there a way to show Last Modified on Google search SERPs even if the original date stays on the post itself?

Or maybe I have to republish the whole article with no date and do a 301? Not sure what to do.

1. Months ago I created a Post: https://thesimarchitect.com/new-minecraft-launcher-1-14-4-and-1-15-preview/

2. After I cloned it, then edited it, new permalink https://thesimarchitect.com/minecraft-1-15-1-how-to-download-and-install/ (different post, new number, content is different as well)

3. Today I cloned the post 2, new permalink: https://thesimarchitect.com/minecraft-1-16-20w11a-march-2020-download-and-install/

No matter what I do I am served the original old Post 1 instead of the correct versions.

My wordpress runs on nginx, so .htaccess file won’t do anything.

Not able to see the old post on my Facebook instant article. Please help me out & solve this issue ASAP.

My site, disaus.com, is ready to be shared to friends but when I write the link, the preview says “My site name – Just Another WordPress Blog” (the bit in bold is “correct”).
Then the preview text gets its sample from my first test post:
(Temporary Post This website is nothing because I am just seeing if it works. Author disausPosted on 12th July 201612th July 20161 Comment on Temporary Post)
which is a page I permanently deleted that day. I have no idea how to make it so it shows maybe a pretty preview of the latest article or if not that, just… not my terrible test post from day 1 building.

Any help would be AMAZING!

Thank you for this great plugin. Lately I am having issues in pulling data, the feed is pulling old data that has been expired rather than the new one?

I have a problem with plugin. Sometimes all posts in cetegories are displayed in reverse order (old post are first). To fix this I have to press the “Reset” in “Display options” menu in all posts screen. After that antything is display fine for a while.

Do you have any idea how to fix it?

I have researched the heck out of this issue and I can’t figure out to fix it. This doesn’t happen to everyone but a lot of readers.

I have tried:

1. Deleting the August 19th post but it still shows up.
2. Delete and repost the August 19th post.
3. Posting a comment at the top of this post asking readers to click the HOME button so they can get to the current posts but my comment won’t show up.

I would give someone my first born if I could just figure out how to fix it.

I had a custom post type which make my post URL like domain.com/review/post now i am changing these posts types to normal and they get domain.com/post urls.

Is there a way to 301 redirect domain.com/review/post urls to the new domain.com/posts URLs.
