Is it risky to upgrade from Sensei 1.10.0 to 4.24.5 ?

I’m planning to upgrade Sensei 1.10.0 for a customer!
Wow (I assure you I’m not the webmaster who left the site fallow)

Given the numerous upgrades and the current version 4.24.5, I suspect I’ll have to take precautions, but would you tell me that I can update without fear via the usual WordPress process, or do I need to perform a special operation beforehand?

I changed the maitenance mode (under settings) to display a different text and image.

Hi All,

I have an old site running version 1.5.1 of the plugin. The site is WordPress 4.7.4 and WooCommerce 2.6.4. There is so much custom code made through the years to keep the site alive that there is no way it can be upgraded without a huge undertaking. I need to install GA4 now. Would this be possible with the version I have? It currently passes some data back to Google Analytics but definitely not conversion or e-commerce data.

Hi, I need help with updating the 2022 theme & fixing a broken layout afterwards. I am administering a site for a friend, the site is working OK but I got it in a state when everything needed to be updated. I started updating everything but the theme update broke the layout of the page. No white screen, no maintenance message, just a broken layout of the website. I found out that the website is running on 2022 theme version 1.2 which was released in May 2022, so it looks like the theme hasn’t been updated since then… I reverted the update so the page is working and I can work on fixing the problem. Does anybody have any idea what to do now? How to have the page all up to date but of course working properly? Thanks a lot for your ideas.

I need to install WP 6.11, which I can download ok.

I upload the files by FTP to a directory, run installer.

During installation, WP automatically updates to 6.22 without asking or notifying.

Is there some way to just install 6.11 without it being updated?

And the login takes to me an old version of WordPress (version 3.4.2) I don’t see why the login works in the old portal but not in the new. Is there a way to keep the same account?
