i used to have the website listed above (abidinginthevine.net) and CleanTalk watched it for me. It has been gone many years… 5-6 at least. I am still getting emails that CleanTalk is doing the spam check on it. and i believe still being charged also. I have tried emailing the guys that i had emailed before and the email keeps coming back. WHAT’S UP?

Wp admin login blocking me form creating a membership site

hello so I recently encountered a problem

I am setting up courses and a membership site on my website.

Unfortunately I have a browser or WordPress login that will pop up( can be recreated by using the link above) that is showing up for students.

Super annoying.

And then the login for membership.

I do not want this first login to show up for any of my members and don’t know how to change that. If anyone can help I would be so great thank you.

I’m Amazed by This Plugin

I’ve just started to use this plugin for all it’s worth. I knew that WordPress databases get bloated over time as plugins and themes are installed and eventually uninstalled, but boy was I surprised to find more than 1,500 autoloaded options on a website I manage, which has been in existence for well over 5 years! I have used free database cleaners before, but this one is the best from what I can see. The interface is clean and straight-forward, and the actions don’t hang on a large database either (unlike some plugins I’ve used).

The Pro version includes the ability to see hints about which plugins the data in the database is coming from, which is pretty accurate (accurate enough to be helpful), and will doubtlessly become more accurate over time. I highly suggest purchasing the Pro version if you’re website is more than two years old and you have enough experience to work with WordPress database data.

Thanks Jordy for a great plugin! You deserve to be much more well-known! I hope this review helps a little in that regard.

P.S. As mentioned in several places, including in the plugin itself, always make a backup of your website before making changes to your database with this, or any plugin like it.

I have a file on my computer that has the information via duplicator for my old site. is it possible to upload it to a place where I can open it as a site (but unpublished) just to grab a bunch of blogs, and other typed sections to save me from retyping it all on my new site. I do not want to restore.

Old content in new url: can i now delete completely the old blog?

Hi!
So, I tried to find the answer in older posts but I am just too terrified to try without being sure.
I changed the URL of my blog keeping exactly the same content of the old one and without discarding the old address (I put the old blog under “private” in the settings).
Now, I have two sites under “My Sites” and only the old one is appearing (blank and with “no results found”) when I google the title (which is the same of the old one).
The question in simple: can I delete completely the old site? Or will this do something to my new now, as they share the same content?

This question is maybe very silly, but thank you so much for the help!

Do I need Install WordPress on my New Website

When I just started, I installed wordpress on my first domain name, for example, abc.com, later I decided to rebrand and changed the domain name to xyz.com. I also redirected abc.com to xyz.com until abc.com is expired.

However, when I check my wordpress on cpanel, it says the wordpress link is still abc.com. I don’t use abc.com anymore and don’t renew it. I want to know what I should do in this case? Should I install wordpress one more time on xyz.com or just import from abc.com or I need do something special, so the wordpress link will be xyz.com rather than abc.com? Thanks.

Old Image Still Appears after WordPress Installation

Hi guys,

I just installed wordpress via a godaddy hosting account.
The website is called https://newyorkwoodflooring.com/.

However, The website does not show the wordpress platform but an image from the old website. I cannot edit anything even though I am logged in the wordpress dashboard. Can you guys please help!!!???
